Jones Jr. tweeted of the tragic news, "Just still feels unreal. But only God knows his plans. And he could have not taken my brother in any better company. God Bless both."
Mia X was scheduled to perform with him on Friday, and took out her sympathies on Twitter after hearing about the crash.
"I looked forward tp performing and laughing with you on friday but God chose you to be with him," Mia X tweeted via AllHipHop.com. "Chasity was the LOVE of your life so God decided that she should join you. I know yall are in a better place but all of us who loved yall are shocked and hurt."
Before his untimely death, Magic was busy releasing singles on his own Banx Entertainment label, which he formed in 2011.

Magic, born Awood Johnson, 37, grew up in the 9th Ward of New Orleans and released four solo albums; the first three of which were via No Limit Records. His debut, Sky’s The Limit, was released in 1998. Magic’s last album, On My Own, was released in 2003. In 2004, the rapper teams with Roy Jones, Jr. (yes, the boxer) and Choppa to form Body Head Bangerz, and the group released an album titled Bangerz: Volume One.
