It’s a slow-burn romance, full of unexpected twists and turns, and I found myself laughing out loud at the antics of the characters. I was really disappointed with the Magical Midlife series. The characters were very one-dimensional and lacked any depth. The plot was also quite predictable and didn't offer any surprises or twists.
