What Happened at Magic 30?

Magic World Championship XXVIII wrapped a thrilling Top 4 playoff with the comeback story of the day. Nathan Steuer, Magic Online Champions Showcase two-time champion and wonderkind of online play had lost to finalist Eli Kassis not once (in Round 14 to lose a win-and-in and only make Top 4 on tie breakers), not twice (as the first playoff match of the day), but three times after Steuer battled back out of the Lower Bracket to face final elimination in the Title Match.

But then he persevered. First, Steuer won a match to even up the score. Then, he did it again.

In the best-of-three-matches finals, every match went to game three. It was a spectacular win that was as close as it could get! pic.twitter.com/r3B6JdtlIt

The highlight of my #Magic30 experience was giving out these one-of-a-kind classic oversized cards to players that literally freaked out with joy. What an event. @wizards_magic #sponsored pic.twitter.com/Ces6kRVv5U

Reviews for "Indulge your senses with these 30 sensational digital happenings"

1. John - 1/5 stars - I was highly disappointed with "Magical 30 digital happening". The event was advertised as a thrilling and immersive experience, but it was nothing more than a series of poorly executed magic tricks. The magician seemed disinterested and lacked the charisma to engage the audience. The props used were shoddy and it was clear that no effort was put into the production value. Overall, it was a waste of time and money.
2. Emily - 2/5 stars - "Magical 30 digital happening" was a letdown. The concept sounded interesting, but the execution fell flat. The magician was unimpressive, and it felt like he was rushing through the tricks without any real attention to detail. The digital aspect of the performance added nothing to the experience and was poorly integrated. I expected more creativity and excitement, but instead, I left feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied.
3. Michael - 1/5 stars - I regret attending "Magical 30 digital happening". The whole event was a complete disaster. The magician's tricks were so obvious that even a child could have figured them out. The audience participation was forced and awkward, making me feel uncomfortable throughout. The overall production lacked professionalism and I felt like my money was wasted on this amateurish performance. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid this show.
