I bought some Magic Line Butter Vanilla flavoring the other day because I know some people swear by it. I used it in my buttercream last night and I can't decide if I like the taste or not. It is a little chemically tasting, if you know what I mean. Anyway, the lady at the store said to use it in my batter for great tasting results, but I am gun shy. Anyone have any advice?

I love that flavor but. the one to buy is the emusion. Has a different taste all together. Of course emulsion is for baking (higher temps) but still taste good in the buttercream.

I use the flavor syrups you buy for coffee. (I use the Toran Brand) They have a large variety of flavors and taste awesome in the butter cream.

i didn't care for the Magic Line flavorings. I use the butter/vanilla emulsion from Loran. After trying a bunch of lines, i always go back to Loran.

I haven't used the Magic Line flavorings, because I tend to stick to Watkins flavorings. To me they don't taste chemically at all and they have so many different flavors. Our local Wal-Mart actually carries most of them so I don't have to take the time to order them online.

I have used Magic line for years. It built my business. Maybe you are putting in too much? It works in frostings, cakes and fondant. Make sure you shake the bottle vigorously. before adding it.

Never had a chemical taste. I am very sensitive to that. that is why I make my own fondant.

The bottom line is, every one has a different taste. so try some of the suggestions and see if you find what you are looking for.

I was really disappointed with the Magic line butter vanilla flavoring. The flavor was extremely artificial and left a weird aftertaste in my baked goods. It didn't enhance the flavor of my cakes or cookies at all. It also had a strange chemical smell that was off-putting. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a natural and high-quality vanilla flavor.

I had high hopes for the Magic line butter vanilla flavoring, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The flavor was too overpowering and artificial, and it didn't blend well with the other ingredients in my recipes. It also made my baked goods taste overly sweet, which was not what I was going for. I would suggest looking for a different vanilla flavoring option that is more subtle and natural.

I regret purchasing the Magic line butter vanilla flavoring. The taste was so incredibly synthetic and left an unpleasant, artificial aftertaste in my desserts. It didn't provide the rich and authentic vanilla flavor I was hoping for. Additionally, the packaging was quite messy, and it was difficult to control the amount of flavoring that came out. Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with this product and would not recommend it to others.
