One of the most fascinating and mysterious aspects of the spiritual realm is the practice of divination. Divination is the art of seeking knowledge of the future or the occult through supernatural means. It has been practiced for centuries by people seeking guidance and insight into their lives. While many are familiar with common forms of divination such as tarot cards or crystal balls, there are some surprising divination practices that are lesser known. One such surprising divination spirit is the use of psychics who claim to communicate with the dead. These psychics, also known as mediums, are said to have the ability to connect with spirits on the other side and relay messages from them.

Six minifigures are included. First of all, we get the excellent version of Professor McGonagall we got in the Hogwarts Moments – Transfiguration Class set. Her torso and dress are nicely printed on both front and back, and the combined hair/crooked wizard hat piece is simply amazing.

It is nicely bound, and does look exclusive, but once you open it you can feel the pages are much thinner than what you get in the real exclusive sets. Here you are presented with a large area in which you can recreate various scenes on which include The Sorting Ceremony, The Great Hall Welcoming Fest, and The Common Room.

These psychics, also known as mediums, are said to have the ability to connect with spirits on the other side and relay messages from them. This form of divination has gained popularity in recent years with the rise of television shows and movies centered around paranormal investigations. While some people are skeptical of the authenticity of these mediums, there are others who swear by their accuracy and have found solace in the messages they receive.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Magical Trunk (76399) Review

In my next review of the March 2022 wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets, I have what I think is the most interesting set from the wave with the Hogwarts Magical Trunk (76399). The set has 603 pieces and retails for $59.99.

Sticker Sheets

There are a lot of stickers that you can plaster on the truck. One sheet is dedicated to just decoration with various crests and details related to the Harry Potter series. They aren’t all unique as there are some duplicates like the Chocolate Frog and the butterbeers.

Minifigures

There are six minifigures in the set, Professor McGonagall, Harry Potter, and four other students. McGonagall has on the black and green robes with some nice circle patterns. Her double-sided head shows her with a smile on one side and an angry expression on the other side.

Harry Potter has on the black robes that we usually see him in. His double-sided head shows a smile on one side and a scared look on the other.

The other four minifigures are generic characters that you can customize. They have colored scarves and mittens that are coordinated to each of the Hogwarts houses of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. There are a number of extra heads and hairpieces that you can mix and match with.

Build

The whole build consists of the trunk and its contents. One thing to note is that this set is fully customizable to your liking down to the color of the chest and what details you want on it. I chosen Gryffindor because that’s what the main instructions go by. I’ve also didn’t apply the stickers because I wanted a clean looking trunk.

The front has three area that have the house colors. In the middle, there is a functioning lock that can keep the contents secure while traveling. The two sides have handles as well as some tiles for you to put the nameplates on.

The trunk opens up on some hinges on both sides. Here you are presented with a large area in which you can recreate various scenes on which include The Sorting Ceremony, The Great Hall Welcoming Fest, and The Common Room.

For each of the scenes, you’ll have to take apart some of the main builds to create alternate builds for that scene. For example, the purple couch is rebuilt into two smaller chairs and a table for a board game.

There are also some smaller accessories like the printed Quibbler tile, Acid Pops, and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans.

When you’re ready to pack up, everything but the minifigures can be organized into one side and locked up after.

Results

Overall the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Magical Trunk (76399) is actually a fun little set that kids will enjoy. There’s a lot of variety that will give a lot of playability and replayability. I do like that there are a lot of minifigure parts as well. The price point is a little high but I feel that with everything that’s included, it is justified.

Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.

Another surprising divination spirit is the use of a pendulum. A pendulum is a small weight attached to a chain or string that can swing back and forth. It is used in divination to answer yes or no questions. The diviner holds the pendulum above a written question or a series of options and waits for it to start swinging. Depending on the direction of the swing, the diviner can interpret the answer. This form of divination is surprising because it relies on the movements of a simple object to reveal hidden truths. One more surprising divination spirit is the practice of tasseography, also known as tea leaf reading. Tasseography involves interpreting patterns and symbols left by tea leaves in a cup. After drinking a cup of tea, the diviner looks at the leftover tea leaves and uses their shape and arrangement to make predictions about the future. This form of divination is surprising because it is based on something as simple and mundane as a cup of tea. In conclusion, divination is a fascinating and mysterious practice that has been used for centuries. While people are familiar with common forms of divination such as tarot cards or crystal balls, there are some surprising divination spirits that are lesser known. These include mediums who claim to communicate with the dead, the use of a pendulum to answer yes or no questions, and the practice of tasseography. These surprising divination spirits highlight the diverse and intricate nature of the spiritual realm..
