The Lovecraft Witch House is a concept that originated from the works of H.P. Lovecraft, a renowned writer of supernatural horror fiction. Lovecraft is considered one of the pioneers of the genre and has had a significant influence on modern horror literature. She is born in Bucharest, on 24th of July 1971. She suffers from dysphonia from childbirth which grants her a unique timbre that contributed to her celebrity.

She succeeded in the competition to start working at Radio Contact in 1991, and she has never stopped working since then.

She worked as a presenter for Radio Contact (for 12 years), Radio Star and she worked for Antena 1 and B1 Television Channels. In 1995 she started co-operation with Romanian National Television (TVR).

After experiencing work in various TV posts, in 2008 she came back to work for TVR.

As she confesses “I think that from professional point of view I took faculty classes in the radio because I did both in the same time… Radio is and will remain my greatest passion and it is great to earn money by doing what you are passionate about. Television came later in my life but the impact was tremendous. In short, in television I did almost everything…entertainment, movie shows, music charts, gala transmissions, shows, Eurovision, talk-show”.

At present, Liana Stanciu is the host of the show „Arts, books and caprices” held in TVR2 national channel, which is broadcasted weekly. The show is an urban cultural magazine which promotes and reflects the artistic and cultural life in Bucharest and in the country. The show is dynamic, various and interesting, with a strong informative content, with coverages and news from the cultural world, and subjects of debate with weekly guests, and most unexpected proposals to spend leisure time.

Together with Raul Brebu she hosts the morning show “Magic Start” at Magic FM Radio, which is one of the most listened radio programs in Romania.

Having a social strong positive impact image, Liana Stanciu is one of the most representative figures in mass media being involved in different humanitarian campaigns for children and promotion of their rights.

As Television director, he is involved in the life of the civil society and he is the director of the Association for Democracy Implementation in Romania, one of the most active non-governmental organizations in Romania.

After more than 12 years of activity out of which the most of them in the civil society, he is concerned for the approach of a coherent vision and goals of the civil society towards the state – the vision consists of having a responsible attitude of balanced critics, mixed with viable solutions to the problems identified.

Although he analyses some topics from critical perspectives, his approach is constructive, in view for all society parties to take responsibility for Romania’s problems, by promoting active involvement in coping and correcting them.

He participated in some studies and analyses over institutions’ efficiency, their transparency and modalities to support civil society involvement.

He wrote many papers in this regard within various projects having as objectives the development of public administration functioning, increase of social responsibility both at institutions’ level but also at civil society’s level, development of new leader generations a.s.o.

For the past 10 years he is a constant presence in different political talk-shows and news shows held by the most important TV and radio stations, conceiving complex analysis and goals regarding important national and international events.

At present, on weekly basis, he moderates the show „Ambassador Romania”, at Realitatea TV Channel, in which important people in Romania’s evolution, ambassadors in position in our country or other Romanian partners are invited and debate on actual problems regarding Romania’s strategies, European Union’s and Eastern Europe NATO’s evolution, the power games in the area of international relations and their consequences on Romanian citizens. Through the show „Ambassador Romania”, he intends to bring to public awareness the intentions and expectations of the actors playing on the external political scene.

She is the journalist who has evolved during her 15-year professional career from an on-site reporter to a war correspondent and, onwards, to a management position, currently being the editorial director of În Premieră television show.

Carmen Avram is the only female journalist in Romania broadcasting from the four winds: Israel, Egypt or Japan. She is the only war correspondent. Despite being a woman, she has gained everybody’s admiration, from that of her journalism confrères to that of the European parliamentarians. Is it not odd for such a brave woman to be afraid of flights?

Carmen Avram comes from Vişeul de Jos in Maramureş, where customs are enshrined, people attend the Sunday morning liturgy and everybody knows everybody. That is why, I reckon, Maramureş is the only corner in the country where shame, in its good sense, has managed to survive so far. Her parents have taught her to walk tall, not to lie and to show consideration for the elders or grown-ups.

It is this kind of values that she came to Bucharest with and since then she has, as often as she is allowed to by the context, talked about the true values and the good education picked up from the people of Maramureş. When she gathered the best reporters and operators for În Premieră show, there were not a lot of people giving her any chances. Neither to rating nor to success. Being ambitious and perfectionist, CARMEN AVRAM has wanted and succeeded in proving to everybody, including to the competition, that nothing can stand in the way of those who love their job so much that they are even able to make sacrifices. The team of În Premieră show has carried away the garland of success. They have won awards. Nevertheless, it has only made them more and more ambitious.

Click! a stat de vorbă cu cea mai cunoscută voce din radio. Într-un interviu exclusiv, Liana Stanciu ne-a povestit, printre altele, cât este de mândră de fiica ei și că abia așteaptă revederea cu Ronan Keating, dar și prestația Angelei Brambati de la Ricchi e Poveri!

Liana Stanciu (50 ani) este prezentă timp de patru zile la Râmnicu Vâlcea, acolo unde prezintă unul dintre cele mai tari festivaluri de muzică, cu peste 30 de artiști cap de afiș.

Cunoscuta prezentatoare de radio și TV, Liana Stanciu nu este singură la Râmnicu Vâlcea, ci în compania fiicei sale de 16 ani și jumătate, Teodora, care este voluntar și translator în limba engleză pentru artiștii și oamenii care au nevoie de traducere în aceste zile, aici, pentru a le facilita astfel comunicarea. Printre altele, Teodora Georgescu îi va însoți pe cei din trupa Blue, alături de colegii ei voluntari, fiind translator la nevoie.

Click: Cum ai primit propunerea să prezinți festivalul de la Râmnicu Vâlcea, care începe din aceasta seară și durează până duminică și are un line-up de peste 30 de artiști români și internaționali?

Liana Stanciu: Când organizatorii mi-au zis trei dintre numele care vor urca pe scenă nu am știut să zic decât "Da"! Când mi-au zis, uite, îi aducem pe Ricchi e Poveri, vin și Jay Sean și Ronan Keating pe care tu îl știi, că ați mai lucrat, am zis "Da"! Nici nu m-am gândit vreo clipă, în plus ei sunt artiștii pe care eu îi difuzez la radio, la Magic FM.

Este o alăturare absolut firească. Mi-a plăcut de la început, după care proiectul a crescut și a crescut și pe măsură ce mai apărea Haddaway, Nana, Outlandish, Ottawan, Oceana, am zis, Doamne- Dumnezeule, ce e asta! Este extraordinar! Sunt peste 30 de nume din care cel puțin 10 sunt arhicunoscute și superdifuzate. E un lucru extraordinar ce se întâmplă! Sigur că toată lumea o să spună, "Bine, mă, dar la Râmnicu Vâlcea". Acum, la început și eu am zis asta, trebuie să îmi asum că nici mie nu mi s-a părut. dar e un oraș superb, a crescut, e incredibil! Sunt într-adevăr foarte multe zone care sunt într-adevăr intoxicate de evenimente, cred că asta a fost explicația!

Or mai fi și altele pur economice, mie îmi place să rămân visătoare, acolo, în zona mea, și să cred că publicul de aici e mai special. Apoi, gândiți-vă că mai există un Festival de Blues unic în Sud-Estul Europei care a crescut într-un oraș despre care nici nu auzisem, da, despre Brezoi este vorba. De ce nu ar crește și Râmnicu Vâlcea cu un festival de muzică, nu e neapărat retro, pentru că, uite, Outlandish au album nou, Jay Sean are album nou, nu mai spun de 3rei Sud Este care sunt peste tot sau DJ Project care au orice piesă aproape pe care o lansează ajunge number 1! E așa un old time, e un festival de muzică de toate tipurile din toate timpurile.

Cel mai mult aștepți revederea cu Ronan Keating?

Nu, cel mai mult aștept să văd cât de bine face pe scenă doamna Brambati, (n.r.: Angela Brambati de la Ricchi e Poveri) pentru că eu sunt fană de muzică italiană, de la începuturile mele la radio, am făcut o emisiune, în 1991, atunci când eu aveam puțin peste 19 ani, și visam să fac radio, și a fost cumva tema mea de a rămâne la Radio Contact.

Mie îmi place la nebunie muzica asta italienească și am cunoscut-o pe doamna Brambati, a fost în studio, e o femeie de 75 plus, care este absolut superbă. Are 50 de ani de activitate, unii dintre noi nu avem nici vârstă asta. Vreau să o văd cum se prezintă pe scenă, ce face, cum face, vreau să învăț de la ea, pentru că e un simbol de longevitate. Vreau să o văd pe Oceana, care este o tipă care a încercat toate genurile și care, vorba fiicei mele, "Hai să vedem daca mai plânge!". Ea are piesa aia cu "Cry, cry, cry". "O mai plânge fata asta? Nu, sigur nu mai plânge!".

Teodora nu a venit?

Teodora vine și ea. Ea va fi printre voluntari, e și ea acolo!

Și Miță? Spuneai mai devreme că este cu sezonul de evenimente!

El are evenimentele lui cu Bere Gratis! Am încercat să nu se suprapunem și nici nu e bine să fim toți în cor, că nu e bine! Fiecare cu treaba lui și cu cariera lui. O să ne bucuram teribil luni când o să povestim. Revenind la We Love Music Festival, mi-a plăcut și cum se numește, mi-a plăcut ideea în sine de a coagula 4 seri magice undeva în marginea unei păduri. Mi s-au părut foarte interesante!

De ce festivalul asta este mai interesant decât celelalte? Pentru că practic este o vacanță! Ai 4 zile și 4 nopți de neuitat, va fi o petrecere pe care o face Nick de la nnd cu toți DJ-ii până spre dimineața, după ce se termină treaba pe mainstage. Iți descoperi și țara pentru că nu o cunoaștem! Eu am crezut că Râmnicu Vâlcea e doar un orășel, este imensă! Când am ajuns aici și am văzut ce hoteluri, ce șosele, ce flori, ce rigole, ce îngrijit! Despre ce vorbim? Suntem în urmă! Au crescut aceste orașe!

Cum e emisiunea pe care o prezinți la TVR?

Da, "În direct cu viața", a fost toată vara la TVR și probabil că urmează grile noi, o să vedem! Eu sunt în fiecare zi, de luni până joi, "În direct cu viața", iar sâmbătă este un best off.

Pentru că muncești cumva nonstop, ai avut timp și de vacanță cu familia?

Da, am fost în vacanță. Am fost plecați o săptămână, pe o plajă, pe o insulă, în Grecia, în Cipru. Ne-am odihnit dar am stat tot cu ochii în telefoane, că toți aveam diverse treburi, și eu și Mihai. Am înotat, am mâncat, ne-am jucat, am verificat, am văzut pietre, Grecia, Cipru - au cele mai frumoase pietre și plaje de pe planetă.

Nu am fost în Maldive și nici în Bali, pentru mine vacanța se reduce la o plajă cu apă cristalină, asta a fost Cipru, anul trecut a fost Grecia, am învățat deja unde ne place, am zis să schimbam puțin ruta! A fost, s-a terminat, ne-am întors mai obosiți decât ne-am dus, aeroportul, 3 ore plus încă 2, faptul că se circula noaptea ca să-ți mai decongestionezi puțin circulația, nu ne-a ajutat dar suntem foarte bine, iar pentru mine vacanța- vacanțelor e aici!

Ce crezi că îi lipsește televiziunii? Dacă ar fi să prezinți o nouă emisiune, ce ai aduce în plus?

Nu pot eu să spun! Televiziunea este o bucurie! Televiziunea este o treabă care se îmbogățește în fiecare clipă, televiziunea are un rival serios în online, adică cifrele pe care le văd eu, de exemplu, eu mă uit. Eu sunt obsedată de căutări și citesc cu precădere site-urile străine, cu iertare te rog să vezi următoare declarație, sunt foarte multe informații scoase din context sau tăiate într-un fel pe site-urile românești.

Nu pot să nu verific, dacă nu e sursă nu pot să difuzez o informație! Mă duc la sursă și după ce citesc pe site-ul ăla original, abia după aceea o dau. Am învățat asta după ce am difuzat niște lucruri și mi-au scris ascultătorii, în timpul pandemiei cu precădere, când se dădeau lucruri alarmiste și dacă citeai cu atenție, vedeai că lucrurile sunt explicate. Mă duc mult pe site-urile internaționale. Televiziunea din Statele Unite pierde, nu vreau să vorbesc despre cea din România. Omul care se uită le televizor e din ce în ce mai senior, ca să nu spun altfel!

Pentru că ceilalți au atât de multe soluții în online și atunci produsul pe care îl faci trebuie să fie suitable fix și pentru una și pentru alta. E clar că dacă faci produsul ideal de televiziune este potrivit și pentru on air și pentru online! Cred că e despre creativitate. Eu sunt fană Jimmy Fallon, mă uit cu drag pentru că, sigur, interviurile lui sunt față în față, are un studio superb, orchestră minunată, care face de toate, dar când are câte un mare muzician, momentele alea. nu ne comparam.

Semănam ca atitudine, sunt multe talk show-uri și la noi, multe întâlniri cu oameni față în față, sunt și oameni valoroși care s-au ascuns pentru că nu se regăsesc în ceea ce se întâmplă în mainstream acum. Noi avem show-urile de talente care ne ridică pe toți și slavă Domnului că România mustește încă de talent!

Concert caritabil de Crăciun. Postul de radio Magic FM, parte a grupului de radio A.G. Radio Holding, care însumează staţiile Kiss FM şi Rock FM, va organiza un concert caritabil de Crăciun pentru copiii cu afecţiuni grave.

Concertul caritabil este organizat pentru achiziţia primului avion ambulanţă pentru copiii care nu pot fi trataţi în România. Profitul realizat în urma acestui concert va fi donat Asociaţiei Blondie, care va contribui la achiziţia avionului ambulanţă, destinat transportului în afara ţării a copiilor cu afecţiuni grave.

La eveniment va participa Bucharest Jazz Orchestra, dirijată de Simona Strungaru şi va fi prezentat de Liana Stanciu (realizatoarea „Magic Morning” la Magic FM şi moderatoarea emisiunii „Puternici, împreună”, de la TVR). Show-ul îi va aduce pe scenă, pe numeroşi artişti cunoscuţi publicului din România.

Concertul va avea loc pe 12 decembrie la Sala Palatului în Bucureşti.

„Sunt 15 ani de când Magic FM este radioul lui Moş Crăciun şi e momentul unui mega-concert, cu cântece de sezon, cu artişti excepţionali, cu o atmosferă emoţionantă.

Aşadar, ne adunăm la Sala Palatului pe 12 decembrie, să facem cel mai important cadou copiilor care nu au tratament în ţară şi pentru care transportul la un spital din străinătate e vital, dăruim timp, scurtăm distanţe, adunăm bani pentru primul avion ambulanţă. Începând cu luna martie 2020, Asociaţia Blondie transportă cu zboruri medicale copiii care au nevoie să ajungă de urgenţă la spitale din afara ţării, pentru că boala de care suferă nu poate fi tratată în România. În mai bine de trei ani, asociaţia a organizat 172 de zboruri pentru peste 500 de copii.

I was really disappointed with Lovecraft Witch House. The storyline felt disjointed, and the characters were shallow and underdeveloped. Overall, it felt like a wasted opportunity to create a truly terrifying horror film.
