Hannah from Little Witch Academia: A Character Analysis

By admin

Little Witch Academia is an anime series that follows the adventures of a young witch named Atsuko Kagari, also known as Akko. Throughout the series, Akko attends Luna Nova Magical Academy, where she learns about magic and forms friendships with other witches. One of Akko's classmates at Luna Nova is Hannah England. Hannah is depicted as a snobby and arrogant witch who often looks down upon Akko and her friends. She comes from a prestigious magical family and takes great pride in her lineage. Despite her initial negative attitude, Hannah undergoes some character development throughout the series.

Hannah is shown to be a very mocking girl. She's quite disrespectful to Atsuko "Akko" Kagari and her friends, due to her incompetence with magic and her academic level in Luna Nova, in addition to being a friend of Diana, who also does not have a good relationship with her. As a result of their attitude in "Don't Stop Me Now", she and Barbara help Akko negatively in the broom race by transforming theirs into shoddy carts to participate, since Akko could not fly with hers. She also judges her own friend Barbara for loving in secret Night Fall.

As a result of their attitude in Don t Stop Me Now , she and Barbara help Akko negatively in the broom race by transforming theirs into shoddy carts to participate, since Akko could not fly with hers. Even when showing these bad qualities, they show too much fear to the monsters or dangerous places to which Diana takes them, who think that they should give fear and not the other way around.

Reviews for "Hannah's Impact on the Storyline of Little Witch Academia"

1. John - 1 star
I found Hannah to be one-dimensional and uninteresting. Her character lacked depth and development, making it hard for me to connect or care about her journey. Additionally, her constant need for attention and validation became annoying and tiresome to watch. Overall, I was highly disappointed with Hannah's character and felt that she added very little to the story.
2. Sarah - 2 stars
Hannah's role in "Little Witch Academia" felt forced and unnecessary. Her obnoxious and arrogant attitude overshadowed the other characters and made it difficult for me to enjoy the show. Moreover, the writers seemed to focus too much on her, neglecting the potential for growth and development in other more compelling characters. I feel that the show would have been much better without Hannah's presence.
3. Alex - 1 star
Hannah's character in "Little Witch Academia" was grating and added nothing substantial to the plot. Her constant scheming, selfish behavior, and lack of empathy made her one of the most unlikable characters in the series. I found myself cringing every time she appeared on screen. The show would have been much better off without her, as her presence only served to irritate and distract from the more interesting aspects of the story.
