Joe Yu is one of the few magicians in Singapore who has a magic show with live animals. He has done numerous national and international performances worldwide. He was the FIRST & ONLY Singaporean to be selected by the Society of American Magicians (SAM) for the U.S.A – International Magic Stage Contest (in Louisville, Kentucky), featuring world-class magicians from all over the world!

Joe Yu was specially invited to be a guest star performer for the Festival of Magic in Malaysia, Bangkok International Magic Extravaganza, Beijing, Tianjin & Shenzhen Happy Valley International Magic and Comedy Festival. He also proudly represented Singapore at the 1st and 2nd – IF Magic International Stage Magic Competition! Joe was also the FIRST and ONLY local magician to be invited to Mumbai to perform for a host of famous Bollywood movie stars including Shah Rukh Khan.

He was recognised internationally as one of the well-known magic masters around the globe, to perform at the World Magic Stars Gala Show in Macau! His magic was also featured on several national and international television programs and commercials.

Recently Joe Yu received 2 major awards – the ‘Most Entertaining Show Award’ for the invited international guest performance shows at the World International Magic Extravaganza 2019
& ‘The Best Audience Interactive Magician’ for the invited TV show (International Magic Concert 2019) in the capital of Vietnam.

1. Laura - 1 star - I was really disappointed with Joe Yu's magic show. The tricks were basic and predictable, and there was nothing really mind-blowing or impressive about it. It felt like he was just going through the motions and didn't put much effort into creating a unique experience for the audience. I've seen much better magicians who left me in awe, but unfortunately, Joe Yu was not one of them.

The tricks he performed were nothing extraordinary, and I could easily see how they were done. It lacked the wow factor that I expect from a magician. Overall, it was a mediocre performance that left me feeling unimpressed.
