With this in mind, we'll be starting WotR soon and i asked my DM if i could just apply the jinx witch archetype to Shaman as it replaces only Hexes for new features and it allows to cast on wisdow which is great for both high Will save and High DC spells. reducing investment in ability score, feats and magic items.
(i think i'll go duergar, Guardian path for adamant mind and spell parry (seems interesting under Enlarge person), and dual path mythic feat for regular options)

Reviews for "Breaking the Spell: Countering the Witch's Jinx"

- John Smith - 1 star - I found "Jinx of the witch" to be incredibly boring and unoriginal. The plot was predictable, and the characters felt flat and one-dimensional. I couldn't connect with any of them and found myself not caring about their fates. The writing style was also quite dull, lacking in any sort of description or emotion. Overall, I was highly disappointed with this book and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an engaging and captivating read.
- Sarah Johnson - 2 stars - "Jinx of the witch" had an interesting premise, but the execution fell flat for me. The pacing was incredibly slow, and I found myself losing interest multiple times throughout the story. The world-building was also lacking, leaving many unanswered questions and a lack of depth. Additionally, the dialogue felt stilted and unnatural, making it difficult to believe in the interactions between the characters. Overall, I found this book to be underwhelming and wouldn't choose to read it again.
- Emily Davis - 3 stars - While "Jinx of the witch" had some potential, I ultimately found it to be mediocre. The writing was decent, but I felt like it lacked originality and failed to bring anything new to the genre. The characters were forgettable, and the plot felt like it was simply going through the motions without offering any surprises or twists. While it wasn't terrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a truly exciting or memorable read.
