A Beginner's Guide to Recharging Your Amulet of Souls

By admin

To recharge the Amulet of Souls in RuneScape, you will need to use a Hydrix gem on the amulet. The Hydrix gem can be obtained by cutting an uncut Hydrix, which is a rare drop from various high-level monsters. Once you have the Hydrix gem, right-click on the amulet and select the "Recharge" option. This will consume the Hydrix gem and restore the amulet to its full charges. The Amulet of Souls has a base recharge of 60,000 charges, meaning it can be used for 60,000 hits before it needs to be recharged. Each hit taken while wearing the amulet will drain a certain number of charges, depending on the type of hit.

You'll need to use an onyx on this necklace to repair it before you can use it.

A reaper necklace is a necklace made by enchanting a hydrix necklace with Enchant Level 6 Jewellery (requiring 87 Magic) or an enchant onyx tablet. The reaper necklace can be decorated with a reaper ornament kit. This produces a reaper necklace (or), which adds +2 to its style bonuses.

It has a passive effect: all successful hits give a 0.1% hit chance boost in all styles for 54 seconds, stacking up to 30 times (a total 3% hit chance increase); however taking the necklace off or switching it for another item will cause the buff to disappear. Missed hits do not count towards stacks.

The necklace degrades to a broken state after 100,000 hits in combat; as with all enchanted hydrix jewellery, it can be recharged by 50% by using a cut onyx on it (so a full recharge effectively costs 4,615,068 coins ).

Once equipped, this item becomes permanently untradeable even if repaired to 100%.

If the necklace is lost in the Wilderness, the killer is rewarded with 750,000 coins and the necklace is not reobtainable.

Each hit taken while wearing the amulet will drain a certain number of charges, depending on the type of hit. For example, a hit that deals 500 damage would drain 100 charges from the amulet. Once the amulet is out of charges, it will no longer provide its special effects and will need to be recharged.
