Blackmagic Pocket 4K

Our Blackmagic Pocket 4K cameras have been updated to Firmware 6.6 which includes 80 FPS in a 2.8K raw for 4:3 anamorphic and up to 75 FPS in a 4K raw in 2.4:1 widescreen. A 2x de-squeeze preview is now available for 4:3 recording as well as 1.33x de-squeeze. Slow-motion rates up to 120 FPS are available in 2.6K raw for Super16 lenses and in cropped Full HD. Other updates included in this firmware: support for the Pocket battery Grip, built-in horizon level function, USB PTP control, customizable frame guides, 8x pinch-to-zoom function, embedding custom LUTs as metadata in Blackmagic Raw.

4K Sensor with Dual Native ISO

The new, wider Four Thirds sensor features 13 stops of dynamic range, Dual Native ISO, and can shoot uncompressed 12-bit Cinema DNG Raw over USB-C to an external drive or to one of two high-speed card slots (CFast 2.0 and UHS-II SD). All this without sacrificing an active, electronically-controlled Micro Four Thirds mount, allowing for a wide range of portable lens options. Sitting between the Film and Video modes is a new Extended Video Mode that preserves highlights and shadows while taking advantage of Blackmagic's color science for ready-to-use footage that needs little-to-no grading.

The highly-compact form factor is wrapped in carbon fiber, keeping the Blackmagic Pocket 4K durable and lightweight. An extremely quiet fan keeps the system cool, with air intakes placed at the top of the body so that the whole thing can be shot from the ground or mounted without any obstruction of cooling.
