Cada dia, people always ask me, “Oye, Golazo, what kind of bird are you?” Para toda mi gente, let me set the record straight … I am a Kingfisher! The next question I always get is, “OK, pero what is a Kingfisher?” To help everyone get familiar with the awesomeness that is the Kingfisher, and why I am the perfect mascot for the Miami FC, I left a few facts about us below. #VamosKingfishers
- We tend to live by rivers and seashores.
- We like to wear bright colors, especially turquoise and orange.
- Some people say we have big beaks “aka mouths,” but we know how to use them!
- We love to go fishing.
- We have great vision and are super-fast.
- We are fiercely territorial and will defend our home till the last breath!
- Some say we have many different calls, but I like to say we are multi-lingual.
- We don’t mess around with nests, we build houses. Can’t have our home blowing away every time a storm runs through!

- John - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Atlanta united team mascot. It looked like a cheap knockoff costume that you would find at a local party store. The design was not creative or interesting at all. Additionally, the mascot didn't really interact with the crowd or add any excitement to the game. Overall, I felt like the mascot was a letdown and didn't add any value to the Atlanta United experience.
- Sarah - 2 stars - The Atlanta united team mascot was underwhelming. It lacked personality and charm. It seemed like the mascot was just going through the motions, without any genuine enthusiasm. The design of the costume was also not very appealing. It didn't have any standout features or unique characteristics that would make it memorable. I expected more from the mascot, especially considering the popularity of the Atlanta United team.
- Mike - 1 star - I couldn't stand the Atlanta united team mascot. It was obnoxious and annoying. The mascot would constantly interrupt the game and distract the players and the audience. Not only was it disruptive, but the costume was also unappealing. The colors were bland, and the overall design lacked creativity. I think the mascot should be revamped or replaced with something more engaging and enjoyable for fans.
