Centering the art of running as an explorative, creative, and somatic-based practice, Yu shows us how to run faster by learning to become more sensible that is, more sense-able through the playful and systematic exploration of movement. Having cancelled both our May and November trainings this year, we decided to create an online version of our course so that our trainings can continue no matter what.
Many of these performers have used their platform to challenge stereotypes and promote inclusivity. A notable magician negro is Richard Potter, who was considered one of the first African-American magicians. Born into slavery in the late 18th century, Potter honed his skills and became a renowned magician and ventriloquist.

His performances were highly popular, and he often used his abilities to address issues of race and discrimination. Another prominent magician negro is Henry Box Brown, who famously escaped slavery by mailing himself in a crate to freedom. After his escape, Brown became a skilled magician and traveled the world, astounding audiences with his illusions. He used his performances to spread awareness about the cruelty of slavery and advocate for its abolition. In recent years, magician negroes continue to make waves in the magic industry. Many performers have gained recognition through their appearances on television shows, such as "America's Got Talent" and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us." These magicians bring their unique perspectives and experiences to their acts, captivating audiences with their skill and charisma. Magician negroes have undoubtedly left a significant impact on the world of magic. They have broken barriers, challenged stereotypes, and entertained audiences with their incredible talents. Through their performances, these individuals have not only showcased their skills but also highlighted the power of diversity and inclusion in the field of magic..
