1. Megan - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Amulet volume 8." I have been a fan of the series from the beginning, but this installment fell flat for me. The story felt rushed and the characters lacked depth. Additionally, I found the artwork to be less detailed and captivating compared to previous volumes. Overall, I felt like this volume was a missed opportunity to continue the strong storytelling and captivating visuals that I loved about the earlier books in the series.
2. Kevin - 2 stars - As a longtime fan of "Amulet", I was eagerly awaiting the release of volume 8. However, I found myself underwhelmed by this installment. The plot felt disjointed and the pacing was off. It seemed like there was too much going on at once, and it was hard to keep up with all the different storylines. Additionally, some of the new characters introduced in this volume felt unnecessary and their motivations were unclear. I was left feeling disappointed and hoping that the next volume will be better.
