By admin

Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins was a Taiwanese live-action adaptation of the popular manga and anime series Dragon Ball. Released in 1989, the film featured a cast of mostly unknown actors who brought the characters from the beloved franchise to life. While the film may not have received critical acclaim, it still holds a special place in the hearts of Dragon Ball fans. The main protagonist, Goku, was played by actor Hsiao Lung. Despite not having any prior acting experience, Lung embraced the role with enthusiasm, capturing Goku's innocence and determination. Although his portrayal may have been different from the animated version of Goku, Lung's performance added a unique charm to the character.

Although his portrayal may have been different from the animated version of Goku, Lung's performance added a unique charm to the character. The role of Bulma, Goku's companion and fellow Dragon Ball seeker, was portrayed by actress Jaime Mei Chun Chou. Chou brought a bold and feisty energy to Bulma, staying true to the character's independent and resourceful nature.

is Curse a good move for Grotle?

I have a grotle and he's level 31. His moves are: mega drain, curse, razor leaf and bite.
He just evolved so it asked if i wanted Earthquake. I want it but I don't know which move to erase :/
I don't know if mega drain is actually that good. I mean if we're battling a tough trainer, like E4, would a mega drain to good damage? I haven't used cursed yet because i remember that if i use it, half of its hp is lost. Helppp!!

Curse works differently for ghost pokemon and non ghost pokemon. for ghost pokemon it cuts hp and puts a curse on the opponent.

for non ghost pokemon it lowers speed and boosts defence and attack (or something like that).

Just get rid of Mega Drain. It's a stupid move and its Special attack stat isn't good at all.

Dragon ball the magic begins actor roster

Her chemistry with Hsiao Lung's Goku created a dynamic duo that carried the film. Other notable cast members included actor Yeung Kong, who portrayed Yamcha, and actor Eddie Chan, who played villainous emperor Horn. Kong's portrayal of Yamcha brought humor and levity to the film, while Chan's performance as Horn provided a menacing antagonist for the heroes to face. Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins may not have had a star-studded cast, but it showcased the talents of these relatively unknown actors. Their dedication and commitment to their roles helped to breathe life into the beloved characters of the Dragon Ball universe. Despite the film's flaws, it remains a nostalgic and treasured piece of Dragon Ball history, serving as a reminder of the enduring popularity of the franchise..

Reviews for "Remembering the Names of the Actors in "Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins"

1. Susan - 2/5: I must admit, I was quite excited to watch "Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins" as a fan of the original anime series. However, I was extremely disappointed with the actor roster. The actors seemed to lack the depth and charisma that made the original characters so beloved. It felt like a poorly executed cosplay rather than a genuine adaptation. The lack of chemistry among the cast members also made it difficult to invest in their performances. Overall, I found the actor roster to be a major letdown and it significantly diminished my enjoyment of the film.
2. Mark - 1/5: "Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins" was an absolute disaster when it came to the actor roster. The actors chosen to portray the iconic characters completely missed the mark. Their lack of talent and inability to capture the essence of the original characters was painfully obvious. It felt more like a low-budget fan film rather than a legitimate adaptation. The poor casting choices were a major distraction throughout the entire movie, and I couldn't take any of the performances seriously. It's a shame that such a beloved franchise was given such a lackluster treatment in terms of casting.
3. Emily - 2/5: As a long-time fan of the "Dragon Ball" series, I was excited to see a live-action adaptation in "Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins". However, I was sorely disappointed with the actor roster. The actors chosen for the main roles lacked the energy and charm that made the animated characters so endearing. Their performances felt flat and uninspired, and I found it difficult to connect with the story and characters because of this. The casting director failed to find actors who could truly embody the essence of the beloved characters, resulting in a lackluster adaptation overall.
4. Mike - 1/5: I cannot express just how disappointed I was with the actor roster in "Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins". The actors chosen to portray the iconic characters were completely miscast and lacked the talent necessary to bring these characters to life. It was painful to watch their awkward and unconvincing performances, which only served to detract from the overall quality of the film. The lack of chemistry among the cast was also evident, making it difficult to become emotionally invested in the story. It's a shame that such a beloved franchise was given such a poor adaptation in terms of casting choices.
