Pastora Pagán Miss Honduras, also known as Pastora Noemi Ovalle Pagán, was born on January 29, 1936, in the city of Tela, Honduras. She became the first woman from Honduras to win the prestigious Miss World crown in 1955. Growing up, Pastora showed ambition and determination from a young age. She had dreams of representing her country on an international stage and worked incredibly hard to make those dreams a reality. In 1955, at the age of 19, she entered the Miss Honduras beauty pageant and emerged as the winner. This victory granted her the opportunity to compete in the Miss World competition later that year.
