1. Karen - 1/5 stars
I was hugely disappointed with "Magical Jungle" by Johanna Basford. The illustrations were beautiful, but the overall experience of coloring in the book was a letdown. The paper quality was poor, and the pages were too thin, causing my colored pencils to bleed through to the other side. The designs were intricate and difficult to color, making it a frustrating rather than relaxing experience. Additionally, the lack of variety in themes throughout the book made it repetitive and monotonous. I regret purchasing this coloring book and would not recommend it to others.
2. David - 2/5 stars
As a fan of coloring books, I was excited to try "Magical Jungle" by Johanna Basford, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The detailed illustrations were visually appealing, but the paper quality was below average. The pages were so thin that any medium I used, be it colored pencils or markers, bled through to the other side. This greatly diminished my enjoyment as I had to be extra careful and limit my creativity. In terms of design, I found many of the pages to be overly intricate and intricate, requiring an excessive amount of time and effort to color small spaces. It's a shame because the concept of a magical jungle theme had potential, but the execution fell short.
3. Sarah - 3/5 stars
While "Magical Jungle" by Johanna Basford had its merits, I was not entirely satisfied with my purchase. The illustrations were undoubtedly beautiful, capturing the essence of a magical jungle. However, the paper quality was subpar, leading to bleeding of inks and smudging of markers. This frustrated me as I had to constantly take extra precautions while coloring. Moreover, the designs were often too intricate, making it difficult to color neatly. Although I appreciated the variety of flora and fauna depicted in the book, some pages lacked diversity, feeling repetitive and uninspiring. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience, and I would recommend exploring other coloring books before settling for this one.
