One of WoW’s most expensive mounts could be coming to Classic for basically free
World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King is slowly nearing its end with just phase five left to complete. But Blizzard has great plans for this expansion, and players could be getting one of the most expensive mounts in the history of the game for next to nothing.
On Oct. 24, Wowhead found the WoTLK Classic PTR had been updated, and it now features two incredibly rare WoW mounts—Magic Rooster and the Blazing Hippogryph.
What caught my eye the most was Magic Rooster, which is one of the most expensive mounts in the game, right behind Swift Spectral Tiger. Today, the feathery mount costs $1,799, according to the WoW TGC mount-selling website. Blazing Hippogryph, meanwhile, sells for roughly $900.

The reason why Magic Rooster and Blazing Hippogryph are so expensive is because the only way to get them was via WoW’s Trading Card Game. The TCG has since been discontinued and it’s difficult to come across these cards unless you’re willing to cash out a hell of a lot of money.
While Dragonflight players have a chance to get the mounts via the Black Market auction house or Twitch and Amazon promotions, there’s no way of getting Magic Rooster and Blazing Hippogryph in WoTLK Classic.
Apparently, Magic Rooster is already available on the Taiwanese servers if you purchase 90 days of game time, and this leads me to believe a similar offer will land on the Western servers in the future. This means you will essentially be able to get a $2,000 mount for the price of just $29. If you ask me, that’s a steal. Unfortunately, we have no idea how Blazing Hippogryph will be obtained.
The 25th anniversary volume not only showcases the best creations of the past but also introduces new images and designs to keep the magic alive. Overall, this volume is a celebration of the wonder and creativity that Magic Eye has brought to the world for the past 25 years..

The El Pollo Grande comes from an old enemy that is still in the game, though few know of its existence. The giant chicken itself comes from a warlock quest when they are learning to summon their Infernal. It falls from the sky, and players are supposed to kill this giant rooster named, of course, El Pollo Grande. Well, developers must have decided the big rooster wasn't ready to leave because with this TCG loot card, you can get the [Magic Rooster Egg]! This item gives you a very fast magic rooster mount. It crows and scratches just like a real life rooster and even clucks for its "Mount Special" effect (when you push the space bar while standing still). While you only get an epic version of this mount, it still does count towards your "Mountain o' Mounts" achievement. Looking to buy this with us? Well, if you use the "Buy It Now" feature, you can get it for around $220-$250 pesos-I mean dollars! But, when bidding, it will range from $130 to $200 USD as well!

Reviews for "The Magic of Magic Eye: 25 Years of Transforming Flat Images into Amazing 3D Scenes"
1. Julia - 2/5
I was really disappointed with the Magic Eye 25th Anniversary Volume. I used to love these books as a kid, but this one just didn't live up to my expectations. The images were not as crisp and clear as they used to be, and I found it extremely difficult to see the 3D effect. It was more frustrating than fun, and I ended up feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had high hopes for this anniversary edition, but unfortunately, it fell short for me.

I have to say, I was not impressed with the Magic Eye 25th Anniversary Volume at all. The concept of the Magic Eye pictures is interesting, but this book just did not deliver. The images were repetitive and lacked the creativity and variety I was hoping for. I found it difficult to see the hidden images, and when I finally did, they weren't even that exciting. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to reliving the magic of the original Magic Eye books, but this one didn't live up to the hype.

I've always enjoyed Magic Eye books, but the 25th Anniversary Volume left me feeling underwhelmed. The images in this book seemed more simplistic and less intricate compared to the earlier editions. Additionally, I had a harder time seeing the hidden images, which was frustrating. It felt like the quality and creativity had declined over the years, and I found myself becoming disinterested after just a few pages. I don't think I'll be revisiting this volume anytime soon.
