Can a house be cursed with bad luck

The lids create an airtight seal, which helps to maintain the freshness of your food for longer periods of time. This is particularly useful if you want to prepare multiple servings of a dish or if you want to take your food on a picnic or camping trip. The cups are available in different sizes, ranging from single-serve cups to larger capacity cups.

Cursed houses?

Went to visit some family and one of my elder aunts got onto the topic of their last house being cursed, lots of odd turn of events, bad luck with health and strained relationships.
A neighbour leaned in and said she agreed as her first home had a bad energy they could not shift.

It’s not something I’ve experienced myself but wondered what others thought? It was an interesting topic.

I can sort of see how a house might give off a bad energy with low ceiling and not a lot of light. There are certainly some days our house feels more gloomy when it doesn’t get much light in some rooms.

Any thoughts? Can they be cursed / have bad energy?

There's no such thing as bad energy or curses. Houses are just bricks and mortar. Some houses feel gloomy due to the construction, decor, layout, available light etc.

The odd feelings that some people report when they visit a place can be due to different sound frequencies that occur naturally in that area. Film makers use these frequencies to induce feelings of tension and anxiety during horror or thriller movies.

I think there are. Some houses feel happy even if they are empty.

I lived in a house which had a terrible feeling to it. We had an awful time. Nothing went right. An we got divorced.

The first time we went to view it, we didn’t actually go inside. I got to the front door and I had a
feeling I can’t describe. It was like something was physically pulling me away, stopping me going inside. I felt sick.

I told the agent I didn’t feel well and legged it back to the car.

Ex h bought the bloody place though as he thought it was a good investment. Well, it wasn’t as he had to declare bankruptcy while living there.

It was an awful house. Big old rambling farm house. Horrible feeling. Friends hated it when they came to stay, my family didn’t like the feel of the place, no matter how beautiful it was.

Everything about it just felt “off”.

It was a beautiful house - light and airy. But it felt dark and oppressive.

There’s no such thing as a cursed house but Sick Building Syndrome is interesting.

There is a house in our village that every occupant seems to have had an unfortunate turn of events over the past 35 years that we know of, every relationship has ended in divorce and a resident was widowed at a young age there. We viewed it when we were looking years ago, it just felt a bit soulless.

Arsebucket: (Love the name btw) sorry to hear about the turn of events, that’s sounds all traumatic. I hope the property you are in now has a much more nicer aura 💐

The house across the way from my Nans definitely has something going on with it. In the past 2 decades it's has 5 house fires, 3 suicides and all the married couples that have moved in have broken up. Since I've started watching as well the longest anyone has stayed is 2 Christmases and the shortest is a fortnight.

It looks perfectly normal from the outside and I've never been in but my nan swears all the misery from the past years as seeped into the walls and no one can be happy there now.

Petunia: Thanks for the reply, that’s quite an eye opening situation to unfold. I’d be one to stay away myself, just wouldn’t want to chance it!

But what if your children were settled in a house that was ‘off’ or was bringing misery, would you then chance moving? Moving is very stressful especially these days!

How could you not risk the next property having the same issues? It’s like Russian roulette.

@PetuniaButterworth I believe that negative energy can stay in a home too. The people who lived in the house before us, the husband died very young. The people before that got divorced.

When ex h and I divorced, he kept the house (long story), and rented it out. He had massive trouble keeping tenants. He had so many leave after 6 months, or ones who wanted to terminate the tenancy early. It was also empty for long periods of time despite lots of viewings and not much of that sort of house to rent in the rural area.

It was an amazing looking house - the few
on the rental market like it were always snapped up fast and lived in for years.

I had such a bad atmosphere.

@RamblingJenny I’ve rented since I left that house but I listen to my gut when I have to move.

I can feel when a house is nice. This house felt warm and sunny, even though it was a cold winters day when we viewed it.

I am happy walking downstairs in this house in the dark. I’m not scared at all.

The farm house - lights were kept on all night out side my bedroom.

I think our house has a negative energy (we are moving but not because of this!) It doesn't feel so bad we would split but I don't feel anyone has had a happy time here. The previous residents lived here 30 years and had their children here but it has no soul. From what neighbours tell us their relationship was not happy and they lived very seperate lives. They went to go live with their incredibly unpleasant daughter.

It just doesn't feel warm, happy or homely despite us gutting it and trying to put our personality in it.

Our buyer commented as well as other viewers that it felt very homely so maybe it's just not right for us personally.

I do also think (and most mners don't believe, I know) that there is possibly someone here. Every works we've done things go missing and then reappear in really obvious places. Stuff has literally flown off the top of the wardrobe in front of me before, again when I was stripping walls.

Someone did die here before the previous residents and I wonder whether he's sad we've changed it (didn't look to have been changed since!) I apologise now when I change things!

Not sure about energy as such but I once has a boyfriend and when I went to his 1st floor purpose built flat which was huge I had a tremendous sense of deja by and I knew the flat layout without being told which rooms were which.

I felt very much at ease there.

Arsebucket: That’s a good compass to have with the ‘feel’ of it. We rushed buying our current home. Can’t you tell I’m not sold on it by saying ‘current’? I didn’t get a feel for it, and still don’t. I tried telling husband but it was the best of a bad bunch and we were running out of time. It resonated with me what my aunt was saying so it’s nice to hear there’s more truth behind it, thanks for sharing your story :) I will definitely be more firmer on what I want from our next home!

Get your arse: (loving all the Arse user names!) This is the issue I’m currently in, it doesn’t feel so bad to move so it’s hard to bring up the subject with my Husband. But he isn’t especially in tune with things. He would sleep in a zoo soundly. One of our children has always been quite spiritual from a young age, would talk about seeing and hearing things that were not there, that kind of thing even when too young to know about spirits (I’m always in the.. unsure camp) she just hasn’t settled since we got here. I’m always on the look out for new houses nearby. Quite sad really as the road were on is lovely. Like you say, outs just isn’t homely.

These entities are thought to bring about misfortune for the occupants, often manifesting as paranormal activity and unexplained disturbances. The belief in such evil spirits can heighten fears and create a sense of unease in the house.

Reviews for "Why magic bullet cups with lids are a game-changer for meal preppers"

- John - 1 star - The Magic Bullet Cups with Lids were a huge disappointment for me. First of all, they leaked like crazy. No matter how tight I screwed on the lid, the liquid would always find a way to escape. Secondly, the cups themselves felt very flimsy and not durable at all. I had one cup crack after just a few weeks of use. Overall, I would not recommend these cups to anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy option.
- Sarah - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Magic Bullet Cups with Lids, but unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations. The lids did not fit securely on the cups, resulting in spills and messes every time I used them. Additionally, the cups seemed to wear out quickly with regular use. The plastic became cloudy and scratched easily, making them look old and worn out. I think there are better options out there for portable cups, so I would not purchase these again.
- Mark - 1 star - I regret buying the Magic Bullet Cups with Lids. They are incredibly difficult to clean due to their design. The blades and other parts are not removable, so food and residue easily get trapped in hard-to-reach areas. It's a hassle to try and clean them thoroughly, especially when you're in a rush. The cups also had a weird plastic smell that wouldn't go away no matter how many times I washed them. Overall, I found these cups to be inefficient and unhygienic. I would not recommend them.
