One sunny afternoon, a little dog named Kippdr found himself in the middle of a bustling city. He had lost his way and was feeling quite alone. As he wandered through the streets, he stumbled upon a flyer for a magic show. Intrigued by the idea, Kippdr decided to go and watch the performance. The magic show took place in a cozy theater filled with excited spectators. Kippdr managed to find a seat near the front and eagerly waited for the show to begin.

All are welcome to attend this free, family-friendly and accessible event as our way of extending thanks to the community for supporting its Museum. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and invite your friends. We'll welcome fan favorites Carlos Jones+ to set the tone for what is always a magical evening in the heart of downtown. The band's reggae rhythms carry this annual party and guests are invited to dance or even limbo along! Doors open at 5:30pm and food service begins at 6:00pm. The Museum's galleries will be closed during the event. Greatness Cafe will remain open until 9:00pm during the Island Party. Food, beverages, and fun accessories can be purchased onsite.

Parking:
Parking is located in the city's municipal lot located behind the Museum and next to Duncan Plaza. There is also parking in the adjacent lot on the corner of First Street and Lincoln Way East, next to Benders and across from Shearer's Foods. Handicapped parking can be accessed on the corner of Charles Ave SE and First Street across from Veterans Memorial Park. Parking is also available at St. John's UCC, accessible via First St SE.

Zephyr and promised the audience an evening full of awe-inspiring tricks and illusions. Kippdr wagged his tail in anticipation, eager to see what would unfold before his very eyes. The first act involved Mr. Zephyr pulling colorful scarves out of his hat, seemingly from thin air. Kippdr watched with wide eyes as the scarves multiplied and danced in the air. He couldn't help but let out a little bark of amazement, much to the amusement of those around him. Next, Mr. Zephyr brought out a deck of cards and asked for a volunteer from the audience. Kippdr's heart raced as he was chosen to participate. He eagerly jumped onto the stage, wagging his tail in excitement. The magician instructed Kippdr to pick a card, any card, and remember it. After a few moments, Kippdr happily barked, indicating that he had chosen his card. Mr. Zephyr, with a mischievous smile, shuffled the deck and threw it into the air. To everyone's astonishment, Kippdr leaped into the air and caught the exact card he had chosen in his mouth. The audience erupted into applause, and Kippdr felt like a true magician's assistant. For the grand finale, Mr. Zephyr announced that he would make a live rabbit disappear and reappear in a matter of seconds. Kippdr's eyes widened as he saw the magician place a real bunny into a cage and cover it with a cloth. As the magician said his magic words, Kippdr couldn't believe his eyes. The cage was empty, and the bunny appeared in a top hat sitting on Mr. Zephyr's head. The audience cheered and clapped, amazed by the magician's incredible skills. As the show came to an end, Kippdr wagged his tail happily, feeling a sense of wonder like never before. He realized that sometimes, things may seem impossible, but with a bit of magic and imagination, anything is possible. Leaving the theater, Kippdr knew that he had witnessed something truly extraordinary. He may have been lost in the city, but that day, he discovered a world of magic and excitement. With newfound inspiration and a little wagging tail, Kippdr set off on his own, ready to create his own magical adventures..

1. Sarah - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Kippdr the dog the magic act". The magic tricks were predictable and unimpressive, and the dog itself didn't seem particularly well-trained. It felt more like watching a pet owner trying to entertain their dog at home, rather than a professional magic act. I was hoping for something more exciting and mind-blowing, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations.

It seemed like the same few tricks were repeated throughout the entire show, which quickly became boring. While the idea of a dog performing magic is unique and charming, it just wasn't enough to make up for the lackluster execution. I felt like the act could have been much more exciting and entertaining with better planning and a wider variety of tricks.
