The Knights and Magic graphic novel is a captivating and enthralling story that combines the themes of medieval knights and enchanting magic. Set in a fictional world, the novel follows the adventurous journey of a young knight named Ernesti Echevarria, also known as Eru. Eru possesses an extraordinary gift for the art of magic and a deep passion for creating and piloting giant robots known as Silhouette Knights. With his knowledge of advanced technology from his previous life, Eru revolutionizes the world of knights and magic by infusing magical abilities and modern engineering. The main idea of the graphic novel is the seamless fusion of medieval knights and spectacular magic. The story brilliantly showcases how Eru's prowess in both magic and technology reshapes the course of warfare in this world.

"Once the Witch shows herself, the House returns to normal."

In the Diary of Ellen, Ellen states that, to a witch, the roses are like her flesh and blood, as the petals seemed to bear patterns like blood vessels that were nearly identical to the veins on her hands. LifeisXbox s The Witch s House MV review I never heard read about the original The Witch s House before, I was oblivious to its existence, and all other famous RPG Maker games for that matter.

REVIEW | The Witch’s House MV

LifeisXbox’s The Witch’s House MV review | I never heard/read about the original The Witch’s House before, I was oblivious to its existence, and all other famous RPG Maker games for that matter. The Witch’s House MV was a great experience, even for a “chicken” for horror like me, and it’s clearly an upgrade when compared to the original. This console port of The Witch’s House MV was developed by Fummy and published by DANGEN Entertainment.

Most Memorable Moment

Some of the ways you can die were surprising to me, I’m not gonna go into specifics to not spoil the surprise for you if you also haven’t played the original. I expected jumpscares but didn’t expect some of the non-jumpscare gore scenes, some were uncomfortable to watch. There’s also a pretty big surprise plot-wise you’ll discover, I’m not gonna say what it is nor when you’re finding out about it though.

What we Liked!

  • Visually fitting | As I’ve already mentioned, I haven’t played the original The Witch’s House, but from what I’ve seen of it this is a pretty nice upgrade. While it remains to have the same camera angle and RPG Maker menus, all textures and character models are much more detailed. The atmosphere given by the visuals is a nice one, giving the player a sense of mystery, fear, and desperation whenever appropriate.
  • A good soundtrack | Speaking of atmosphere, the soundtrack also doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. You will feel the suspense, mystery, and loneliness a lot more thanks to it. It helped in intensifying all the feelings you were supposed to feel like all good soundtracks do.
  • Simple to play | There are no secrets to playing The Witch’s House MV. You can move, interact with objects/scenery, open up the RPG Maker menu to use items you obtained, and run. It’ll take a little while for you to need to run, so don’t be like me and completely forget about it, because it’s crucial to run in a few instances. You can also save the game by interacting with the black cat that shows up in multiple places throughout the house.
  • Difficulties | At first, you’ll only be able to select between two difficulties, and there isn’t much difference between them. The only difference between them is that one sets you on your last save when you die while the other sets you back to the main menu, making you waste a tiny bit more time, but since the game loads fast, it doesn’t really make a difference. When you get the true ending you unlock the third difficulty option, this one has new puzzles, more ways to die, more scenes, and additional info about the witch. It’s worth mentioning that you don’t need to replay the whole game to get a different ending, just replaying from the last save is good enough, and that won’t take more than two minutes.

Mixed Feelings

  • Nothing | You could say this section is a ghost because you can just scroll through it, as there isn’t anything to see here.

What we Disliked

  • Nothing, again | Yep, that’s right, I only have positive things to say about The Witch’s House MV.

How long to beat the story | 1h – 2h
How long to achieve 1000G | 2h- 2.5h

Eru's unwavering bond with his friends and allies serves as a driving force throughout the story. Their collective efforts to master the art of magic and navigate the challenges they face strengthen their relationships and lead to thrilling adventures. The artwork in the graphic novel is visually stunning, with intricate details and vibrant colors that bring the world of knights and magic to life. Each panel is carefully crafted to showcase the intensity of battles, the beauty of magic spells, and the intricate designs of the Silhouette Knights. Overall, Knights and Magic is a captivating graphic novel that combines the excitement of medieval warfare, the allure of magic, and the power of friendship. It offers readers a unique and imaginative world where knights and magic coexist in perfect harmony..
