Link is uncharacteristically clear about just where TL-Inner is: “Outside The Library, everything is dusty and red and alien, as if George Washington has carried Fox out of The Library and onto the surface of Mars.” Note that TL-Inner’s setting is referred to with the same capitalization as the show itself. And Mars is, of course, Jeremy’s last name.

But when I came back to it and and reread this story for the first time, the first sentence of the second paragraph was almost a shock In one episode of The Library , a boy named Jeremy Mars, fifteen years old, sits on the roof of his house in Plantagenet, Vermont.
