These Sabbats are divided into two categories: the Wheel of the Year and the Greater Sabbats. The Wheel of the Year is comprised of four Sabbats that mark the changing of the seasons. Wiccans honor the goddess Eostre and focus on the themes of fertility, growth, and new beginnings. 3. **Beltane**: Celebrated on May 1st, Beltane represents the beginning of summer and the peak of fertility in nature. Wiccans honor the god and goddess in their union, and rituals often involve dancing around a Maypole, bonfires, and celebrating the abundance of life. 4. **Litha**: Occurring on the summer solstice, Litha marks the longest day of the year.
