Noroi: The Curse and the Exploration of Japanese Folklore

By admin

"View Noroi: The Curse" "Noroi: The Curse" is a Japanese found footage horror film that was released in 2005. Directed by Koji Shiraishi, the film follows a documentary filmmaker named Kobayashi as he investigates a series of paranormal activities and mysterious occurrences surrounding a woman named Junko Ishii. The film takes an unconventional approach to storytelling by blending different styles of found footage, including documentary interviews, news footage, and video diaries. This creates a sense of realism that adds to the film's eerie atmosphere. Throughout the movie, Kobayashi uncovers a sinister curse that appears to be linked to a child psychic named Kana Yano and an ancient demon known as Kagutaba. As the investigation progresses, Kobayashi realizes that the curse is spreading and that he himself may be a target.
