I recently attended a performance of "The Story Orchestra: The Magic Flute" and I was quite disappointed. While the concept of combining a live orchestra with storytelling sounded intriguing, the execution fell flat. The storytelling was hard to follow and the transitions between the different scenes were poorly done. Additionally, the orchestra itself didn't seem to be in sync with the narrative, resulting in a disjointed experience. Overall, I found the performance to be lacking in coherence and failed to capture my attention.
