Zara was known for having great magical powers and an extensive knowledge of the land.

We always just use the chili magic - we love it - sometimes we add in an extra can of black beans to stretch the meal, but the flavoring in chili magic is really good!!

I usually use the packet of chili seasoning, but I bought Bush s Chili Magic Beans, seasoning and sauce so should I use both or just the Chili Magic. Add the following 2 cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed 2 cans petite diced tomatoes, with juice 1 can tomato sauce 1 diced onion 1 diced green pepper 2 tablespoons chili powder 1.

CHILI? Packet Seasoning or Bush's Chili Magic Mix?

6-8 inches of snow tonight so I thought tomorrow will be a good chili day. I usually use the packet of chili seasoning, but I bought Bush's Chili Magic (Beans, seasoning and sauce) so should I use both or just the Chili Magic?
Have you used the chili magic and did you like it?

we live in Tn and go sort of a back way into Pigeon Forge. Bush's has a FREE museum that is really nice and fun(I believe the area is called Chestnut Hill, although being from this area I always thought it was part of Cosby). shows their history and their old, as well as new products and how they process it all(and of course Duke the dog is the star). They have a nice gift shop with candies, kitchen items, and soybean candles. They also had a small cafe that had what seemed like home cooking pretty cheap. I like the dry chile packets(store brand), but then I try to buy the Bush beans to put in. sometimes I get them even if they are a bit more as I feel like I am helping folks in our area. If you go to Pigeon Forge you could definitely spend a couple hours there between the restaurant/store/Museum

I usually don't use any pre-made mixes..just a bit of chili powder from the spice isle and a lot of V8 spicy hot juice (it's not very spicy at all).

The Chili Magic has great flavor - but I can only find it at Wegman's near me.
Yesterday I made chili in the crockpot and it was delicious - didn't have the Chili Magic.

This recipe calls for 3lbs of beef, so adjust accordingly.

Brown beef in skillet, drain, and transfer to crockpot.
Add the following:
2 cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 cans petite diced tomatoes, with juice
1 can tomato sauce
1 diced onion
1 diced green pepper
2 tablespoons chili powder
1.5 tablespoons cumin
1.5 tablespoons brown sugar
salt & pepper
tobasco to taste

cook on low for 6-8 hours, 15 minutes before serviing mix 2-3 tablespoons
cornstarch with cold water, add to chili, let cook for the 15 minutes. Serve
over rice and garnish with shredded cheddar/green onion/sour cream.

OT - but we go by there on our way to Pigeon Forge too! We stopped one day but it was just before closing so we didn't get a chance to see much.

Reviews for "The Witch Doctor's Curse: The Mammoth Jumbo Purple People Eater's Plight"

1. Sarah - ⭐ - Unfortunately, "The Mammoth Jumbo Purple People Eater Encounters the Witch Doctor" was a complete disappointment. The story failed to captivate my attention from the beginning, and the characters felt flat and one-dimensional. The plot lacked coherence, and it was difficult to follow the narrative. Overall, the book seemed poorly written and lacked the imaginative and engaging elements I would expect from a children's book. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for an enjoyable and well-executed story for children.
2. John - ⭐⭐ - I had high hopes for "The Mammoth Jumbo Purple People Eater Encounters the Witch Doctor," but it fell short of my expectations. The story felt rushed, leaving little room for character development or engaging plotlines. The dialogue was stilted, and there were multiple grammatical errors throughout the book. Additionally, the illustrations were lackluster and did not enhance the reading experience. Overall, this book seemed hastily put together and failed to deliver a captivating and enjoyable story for young readers.
3. Emily - ⭐⭐⭐ - I found "The Mammoth Jumbo Purple People Eater Encounters the Witch Doctor" to be an underwhelming read. While the concept had potential, the execution was lacking. The story appeared fragmented, with abrupt transitions and an inconsistent tone. Additionally, the characters lacked depth, making it difficult to form a connection with them. The illustrations were mediocre at best and did not add much to the overall experience. I believe there are better children's books available that can offer a more engaging and well-crafted story.
