Flames

My parents made me feel abandoned, unloved, and unwanted. They left me in the middle of nowhere. It results to sudden disarray of my life. But I never lose hope. I waited and waited until someone found me. He stayed by my side. He fans my flames. He sustain the things I need to keep me from burning. So, I grasp him so tight. Huwag lang siyang mawala sa akin.

Maybe Lilac is right after all. I depended on him too much.

Cahel climbed my walls to be with me. But Abes took down my walls and lit my soul on fire. I don't know when was the first time he did that but ever since that day, the monster inside me never wake up again. Cahel saw my demon but Abes tamed my demons.

But being a selfish person I am. I kept those fuel with me not minding if it'll get killed them with my flames.

When I woke up one morning, I saw Lilac's message telling me that she's on her way so I prepared myself and look for Abes. I also received tons of messages from Cahel and I respond for the sake of replying. I don't know. My systems gone wild overnight.

It shouldn't be that way.

I shouldn't feel this way but I can't understand myself anymore.

"This is just a token for carrying your child, right?" I asked Abes after he gave me the anklet.

His jaw clenched. It took him series of deep sigh before he nodded. I nodded too.

"Then thank you." I said coldly. "Can you take me home now? I want to rest."

That night shook my world so much. His actions are confusing me or I'm just the one who gives malice to everything he did?

Abes is still obviously whipped for Layana. I always getting wake up everynight with the sounds of strumming in the terrace.

When I opened the slide door, I saw Abes strumming his black guitar. He is humming but it was too low.

"Can't sleep?"

When he noticed my presence, he immediately jumped. "Bakit gising ka pa? May nararamdaman ka ba?"

I smiled a little when I noticed how worried he is. I then sit in a small couch in the corner.
