The Otherworldly Nature of Dreams in the Witch House

By admin

"The dreams in the witch house" is a short story written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1932. It belongs to the horror fiction genre and is known for its fascinating and eerie atmosphere. The story follows a university student named Walter Gilman, who moves into an old boarding house in Arkham, Massachusetts, while studying mathematics and folklore at the prestigious Miskatonic University. As the title suggests, the dreams experienced by Gilman within the witch house are central to the narrative.

In the world of things that add an aroma to your house, I haven’t always been the biggest fan. I used to collect those scratch ‘n sniff stickers when I was a kid and I think I may have overdone it because scents haven’t really been my thing as an adult, at least until Magic … New Enchanted Hand Soap from Magic Candle Company Brings Sudsy Magic to Your Bathroom

My Favorite Magic Candle Company Fragrances for Fall

Summer is coming to an end, which means autumn is right around the corner. A cooler breeze, pumpkin spice lattes, and college football all come to mind. For us theme park fans, fall is a special time of year because it typically means the crowds start to go down in the parks, the seasonal nighttime parties are beginning, and the overbearing summer heat in central Florida and southern California are starting to cool down.

If you can’t visit central Florida or southern California for a theme park vacation this fall but want to bring a little of the fall time magic into your home, I highly suggest trying a few of the Magic Candle Company fragrances.

Pumpkin King

This one was too easy. The Pumpkin King fragrance was an obvious choice for this list as it features “a sweet, creamy combination of pumpkin puree blended with warm notes of butter and sweet vanilla cream.” If that doesn’t scream fall time, I don’t know what does. The other fragrances below required a little more explanation as to why I think they are great fall time scent, but this one was very obvious.

Poison Apple

The name Poison Apple name could instill some fear, but don’t worry there are no tricks here! The Poison Apple “fragrance combines notes of crisp, blood-red apples, a hint of cinnamon, and a base of caramelized sugar.” I reason I consider this a great fall fragrance was that it reminds me of apple picking, apple cider, and apple crumble which all remind me of autumn. Obviously, the name alludes to a popular animated feature film, which has nothing to do with the fall, so this fragrance might not stick out as an obvious fall choice on name alone. Give it a try if you’d think you’d like a sweet apple-y smell in your home.

Wilderness Campground

Leaves are about to start falling up north, which gives the outdoors a distinct crisp smell. Unfortunately, that doesn’t really happen down south. Which is why I highly recommend that southerners and Floridians try the Wilderness Campground fragrance as it does a great job of capturing that crisp outdoorsy smell. While it might have not been the intention of the Wilderness Campground fragrance, I think it reminds me of the fall in the northern states where I grew up. The Wilderness Campground fragrance, “features fresh herbaceous notes and soothing lavender blended with warm cedar and fresh cypress to create a woodland fantasy. Patchouli enriches the botanical tones as it leads to the base of cashmere woods.”

Horror Nights

Haunted Houses are big business in central Florida in the fall. Fake fog, which has a very distinct smell, is often used to set the scene in these haunted houses and scare zones. If you want to bring that spooky smell into your own home try the Horror Nights fragrance which features “a blend of Ozonic notes, aquatic notes and musk notes that recreates the familiar smell of pyrotechnic fog.”

Haunted Holiday

Near the end of the season as winter approaches break out the Haunted Holiday fragrance as it’ll tie the two seasons together. This fragrance will be the perfect scent in November as you are transitioning between Halloween and Christmas décor. The Haunted Holiday scent “captures the aroma of a spooky gingerbread house displayed upon a Grand Hall table. It combines delicious notes of warm vanilla and spices for a homemade, fresh from the oven gingerbread scent.”

It’s always fun when packages are delivered to my front porch and it seems that for the past 3 months or so, they’ve been coming pretty steadily. Ahem. Here’s the thing, though, they’re not usually for me. I am not typically the one in my house, believe it or not, who orders online the most. … The Day My Magic Candle Company Order Arrives is Always a Good One
