Mostly these kinds of conversations revolve around people wanting to secure a job interview, or a pay rise or some other competitive opportunity opening up so they can secure it. On the rare occasion cognitive dissonance kicks in and the request is for some kind of binding spell, or even curse, which will stop an individual from doing something but yet ‘harms none’.
