Nordic iconography and symbols have found themselves co-opted, adapted, misinterpreted and given entirely different meanings by modern far-right movements.
In the Western world, as right-wing political extremism continues to rise, splinter and change, old symbols emerge. These symbols include more recognizable, co-opted iconography, like the swastika, the Sig rune and the increasingly common Black Sun.
