Ever since I was a little kid, I've been playing HoMM games, and I was coming back to the second title from time to time, but the difficulty was ridiculous sometimes. Around 2014 I've beaten the base game's two campaigns about Roland and Archibald, but the expansion was just too much in terms of difficulty. I still remember the first time my brother visited me during my summer vacation around 2002-2003 and told me about HoMM II excitedly, how he managed to get the full game from a friend. This is one of my few memories from those times and it has staid with me vividly ever ince. Of course, back then I was very bad at it, and I was only watching him beat the hardest levels. Years have gone by, and I got better at the games, just finished HoMM V last year, cause I got stuck at a map around 2015 (the elven campaign's last map, didn't know the trick to that map, but luckily figured it out), but this was the push that gave me the morale to try and conquer one of my childhood's hardest games ever.

Also, I've missed out on HoMM III for some reason, downloaded it two years ago the GOG version, but the game still crashes to the desktop sometimes. I've heard that this title is the best in the series and I really want to beat it, after I've beaten HoMM II's expansion campaigns and HoMM V's expansion campaigns. Does anyone have any idea how to make the game more stable?
