Thread: Black Magic Tire Gel Dressing

I have to agree with qwertydude on the Black Magic Titanium wet get Its thick like syrup and very difficult to get into the ridges in my sidewall pattern. I had dab at it all the way around the tire. This made it too thick so I wiped off the excess with a terry towel (which it ruined) and the tires looked good.

The next day I cut grass pretty far from the truck but I noticed grass clippings (mulching mower) all over the tire. I got a hose and shot the clippings off with some effort (tires were somewhat sticky).

Then after a few trips I noticed the product slung onto my paint. :furious:

I also tried it on my rear bumper plastic parts and it ran onto the chrome.:angry

In the trash it went.

as for tire gels, i prefer the water based ones. if you`re going to try one, get the AA tire shine gel, it can be found just about anywhere and is around $6 a bottle which will last forever.

p.s. as i mentioned before, i like to use a leaf blower afterwards to help blowout any leftover dressing out of the tread, and it also helps aid in drying as well.

Thanks guys. I had this stuff on my tires for about a month now, and it seem to be gone. Didnt leave browning which is good. So from reading, I will assume this is not water-based.

It held up pretty well, 2 weeks gloss, 1 week matte, and now its gone. Any recommendations on ones that last about the same that is water-based?

The Black Magic Titanium Matte is water based and is an extremely good product. It does not have any of the properties of any gel. It is durable and it dries completely so that it will not hold dust etc. It has a "new tire" appearance.

The reason I havent tried Black Magic Matte is because its a spray. Can you apply it with an applicator or u have to spray it on. Thats the only reason I use gel. Comments =)

I spray Black Magic Matte onto a sponge and spread it over the tire. I know that there is a suggestion you have to spray it on directly but I don`t and it works great.

The one thing (other than the appearance) that I like is that it goes on thin and dries. I am applying it to Michelins and it works fine on them. I too was a gel user but not anymore. I actually think this stuff outlasts the gels.

Do a search; there are other threads on this board about this stuff.

i`m personally a user of the black magic tire shine gel and i love it. i apply it using a foam block i purchased off of detailersdomain, and i find it works great. so far the one bottle i`ve bought has lasted me over 20 applications and maybe 1/3 still left. the foam app block makes it much easier to apply, spread, and wipe around ensuring a nice even application that doesn`t "sling" off when the car is driven. my favorite two things are the fact it doesn`t sling even if driven directly after use (which of course has to do with how i apply it), and it lasts weeks on end.

to hard core tire shine users let me give you a heads up, when used often (was washing and then dressing my 2004 S2000 two to three times a week) this product can start to built up quite a bit. if you find this happening to you, simply use your favorite tire cleaner/APC and agitate with a stiff brush. This helps to even out the build up, and ends up giving a really awesome matte finish that lasts for weeks.

if you don`t like this product, or have had bad results, be careful how you applied it as it makes all the difference. find the tire shine that bests fits your needs (how it`s applied, the matte vs shiney look, durability, cost, etc) and stick with it.

Thanks guys. I had this stuff on my tires for about a month now, and it seem to be gone. Didnt leave browning which is good. So from reading, I will assume this is not water-based.

Reviews for "Mini Magic Bullet Juicer vs. Traditional Juicers: Which Is Better?"

1. Sarah - 1 star - The Mini Magic Bullet Juicer was a total disappointment for me. First of all, it was extremely difficult to assemble. The instructions were not clear at all, and I ended up wasting a lot of time trying to figure out how to put it together. Secondly, the juicer did not perform well at all. It struggled to blend fruits and vegetables, and I had to continuously stop and start it to see any progress. Lastly, the motor of the juicer was extremely loud and noisy, making it an unpleasant experience to use. Overall, I would not recommend the Mini Magic Bullet Juicer to anyone.
2. John - 2 stars - I was not impressed with the Mini Magic Bullet Juicer. While it did manage to juice fruits and vegetables, the quality of the juice was not up to par. The juicer did not fully extract the juice, leaving a lot of pulp and fiber in the final product. Additionally, cleaning the juicer was a hassle. The parts were not dishwasher-safe, and I had to spend a lot of time scrubbing them by hand. The juicer also took up a lot of space on my counter, which was another inconvenience. Overall, I think there are better juicers available in the market and I would not recommend this one.
3. Michelle - 2 stars - The Mini Magic Bullet Juicer did not meet my expectations. It claims to be a powerful and efficient juicer, but I found it to be quite weak. It struggled to juice hard vegetables like carrots, and even when it did, the juice had a lot of foam and was not smooth. The cleaning process was also a hassle, as the pulp got stuck in the juicer and was difficult to remove. I expected better performance from a juicer at this price point. Overall, I was disappointed with the Mini Magic Bullet Juicer and would not purchase it again.
