It was embarrassing to see our university represented in such a subpar manner. The Michigan Tech mascot is one of the most unimpressive I have ever seen. It lacks personality and does not evoke any sense of school spirit. The design is plain and forgettable, making it easily overshadowed by mascots from other universities. I had high hopes for a mascot that would ignite excitement and create a memorable experience, but unfortunately, the Michigan Tech mascot fell short. It is difficult to rally behind a mascot that has no unique qualities and fails to captivate the audience's attention. I believe the university can do better in selecting a more engaging and representative mascot.
