  • Unlike officiants who have complicated packages and pricing structures that vary based on the event size, type of ceremony, their a la carte "add-ons," and things of that sort - I keep it simple and charge a flat fee of $600 for any officiation project.
  • If I seem like the right fit for your ceremony and you want to make it "official" with me, I require a signed contract and a retainer of $300 - 50% of my fee - to reserve your date on my calendar. Although a date is required, a specific location or time for your ceremony does not need to be set in stone for you to book with me – those other details can be filled in later!
  • The remaining 50% of my fee - $300 - does not need to be paid until 2 weeks before your ceremony.
  • If you would like me to attend an online ceremony rehearsal, an in-person ceremony rehearsal, or do a site or venue tour with you, each of these activities comes with an additional fee of $200 .
  • Travel fees : For any ceremony, rehearsal, or venue/site tour that takes place within 50 miles of my office in Salem (calculated based on the shortest one-way door-to-door route on Google Maps), I do not tack on additional travel fees. However, if the location of any of these activities is more than 50 miles away, I charge an additional travel fee equating to the 2023 IRS business standard mileage rate of 65.5 cents per mile for each mile of each round trip made.

Maeve & Santiago’s Handfasting Elopement at Rattlesnake Lake

When I met Santiago and Maeve via Zoom, they were scrambling to get all their belongings packed and get on the road for their cross-country move from Texas to Seattle. They reached out because they were planning a truly classic elopement: running away together, to a new city, with only a couple weeks to throw it together. They’d already hired Loren to take photos and I was thrilled to be recommended as their officiant.

One of the most popular magical Poip marshmallows is the purple star. This marshmallow is known for its ability to grant wishes. Legend has it that if you make a wish while taking a bite of the purple star marshmallow, your wish will come true.

A Witchy Halloween Elopement on the Perfect Fall Day

When Maeve and Santiago explained what they were planning – a witchy Halloween elopement somewhere in nature with a handfasting ritual – I was 1000% in! Loren suggested Rattlesnake Lake as the location and it ended up being the perfect fall wedding backdrop. The leaves were all burnt orange, the lake was crystal blue behind them, and it was a gorgeous, sunny day. You literally couldn’t have a better forecast for a fall wedding in the Pacific Northwest!

Some say they've turned into cats or birds, while others report growing bunny ears or butterfly wings. It's a whimsical and exciting adventure with each bite. Whether you're toasting them over a campfire or topping your hot cocoa, these marshmallows will make your treat truly enchanting. However, finding these magical Poip marshmallows can be quite challenging. They are said to only appear in certain secret locations or during special celestial events. Reviews for "Enchant Your Guests: Ideas for Magical Entertaining with Poip Marshmallows"

- Jane Smith - 2 stars - I was really excited to try the Magical Poip Marshmallows based on all the hype. However, I was extremely disappointed with the taste. The texture was weirdly chewy and the flavor was overly artificial. They also left a strange aftertaste in my mouth that I couldn't get rid of. Overall, I would not recommend these marshmallows to anyone looking for a delicious treat.
- John Doe - 1 star - I can't understand what all the fuss is about these Magical Poip Marshmallows. They are nothing more than an overpriced and gimmicky treat. The marshmallows are too sweet for my liking and lack any real flavor. They also dissolve way too quickly in hot beverages, leaving a slimy residue behind. Save your money and opt for some traditional marshmallows instead.
- Sarah Johnson - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Magical Poip Marshmallows, but they fell flat. The packaging may be cute, but the taste is far from magical. The marshmallows had an odd, chemical-like flavor that I couldn't shake off. The texture was also disappointing, being more dense and less fluffy than I expected. I won't be buying these again and would advise others to steer clear as well.
- Michael Thompson - 1 star - I was not impressed with the Magical Poip Marshmallows at all. The colors may be vibrant, but the taste is anything but enjoyable. They tasted artificial and reminded me of cheap, sugary candies. The texture was also strange, more like chewing on a rubbery substance. I regret spending my money on these marshmallows and would not recommend them to anyone else.
