We’ve had lots of big news coming at us lately for Disney Vacation Club including the addition of new villas at the Disneyland resort, and a new DVC tower coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort that’s currently under construction. With so many big things in the works, it’s easy to forget about the exclusive parties that DVC hosts after hours in the parks, but don’t worry, we’re here to help.
Disney Vacation Club is known to host exclusive after-hours events called Moonlight Magic. We’ve seen them already this year hosted in both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and now it’s time for another park — Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Event registration for the July 11th, 2023 Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park event opens to all eligible members on June 21st, 2023. In past event registrations, Disney has used an online queue system allowing members to log in and grab their spot in line when the registration opens at 10AM. Eligible members should be emailed a link to register for the event. If you’re wanting to attend, you’ll want to verify that your membership qualifies for this additional perk before planning to register.

There’s usually quite the demand for these after-hours parties as they’re known to host several rare characters, and have exclusive offers on treats with snack vouchers, most of the rides and attractions are still open to enjoy, and you can enjoy it all in a limited capacity. Did we mention that they’re also complimentary to attend with your DVC membership? Sometimes, they’re even able to bring on extra event offerings like a silent DJ dance party, and returning characters we haven’t seen in the parks in years, like was the case with Duffy the Disney Bear from EPCOT who notably hasn’t met with guests in the regular park hours since October 2015.
