Idina Menzel (who won a Tony Award for her performance) and Kristin Chenoweth starred as Elphaba and Glinda, respectively, with veteran Joel Grey as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Since then many different actors have stepped into the iconic roles of the witches, including current stars Jessica Vosk and Amanda Jane Cooper.
Wicked won Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical (Menzel), Best Costume Design (Susan Hilferty), and Best Scenic Design (Eugene Lee).
Wicked features a score by Stephen Schwartz, a book by Winnie Holzman, direction by Joe Mantello, and musical staging by Wayne Cilento. The creative team also includes scenic design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Meola, projections by Elaine J. It also had a strange smell that I couldn't ignore. The formula was also very drying and I found myself having to constantly reapply throughout the day. Overall, I would not recommend this lipstick.
2. AlexG - 1 star - I had high hopes for the Magic Kiss Lipstick, but it completely let me down. The color payoff was terrible and it looked patchy and uneven on my lips. It also tasted really bad, almost like chemicals. I couldn't wear it for more than a few minutes before having to wipe it off. Save your money and invest in a better quality lipstick.
