Absolutely impressed! Just came home from a 3-day ride in the rugged Black Hills. My Willow girl led the group the entire way, wearing her Explora Magic Boots! They never slipped, twisted, or rubbed the entire weekend. We had rain, hail, mud, rock, steep inclines, steep declines, numerous creek crossings, bridges, downfall trees, and just about any terrain you would ever come across. I am a huge fan, and may never shoe my horses again! Wish there was a way to attach a video of where these boots went!
Generally, if the width and length fit into both sizes, go for the smaller size as this will offer the closest fit and we have found that hoof boots generally work best with a tight width in particular. As long as the boot fits well and is correctly fitted, there is no more chance of loosing a hoof boot than there is loosing a metal shoe in mud or water.
