Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young boy named Thomas. Thomas was an ordinary boy who loved playing outside and exploring the woods near his house. But one day, while he was playing hide and seek with his friends, he stumbled upon a peculiar-looking beanie on the ground. It shimmered with a hint of magic. Curiosity got the better of Thomas, and he decided to put on the beanie. As soon as he did, he felt an incredible surge of energy coursing through his body.
Grumpy magicians are rare since they’re not very employable. “It’s true because I was once that sort of magician,” Piff the Magic Dragon aka John van der Put said while calling from London. “In my early days, booking me was like booking the Eeyore of magicians.”
Although he might not be as famous as his older brother Steve there s no doubt the recent years following his loss on season 10 of AGT have been monumental for the act voted Best Comedian, Best Magician and Best Headliner in the 2019 Best of Las Vegas Awards. Van der Put s career also received a boost when he was selected as the support act for Mumford Son s 2012 tour but the big bump he received was when he performed on the tenth season of America s Got Talent.
As soon as he did, he felt an incredible surge of energy coursing through his body. Suddenly, he could hear whispers of the wind and see the vibrant colors of nature more vividly than ever before. Realizing that the beanie had bestowed upon him unusual powers, Thomas embarked on a journey to discover the extent of his newfound abilities.

Reserved seating is $35, $45 and $65. A limited number of tickets for an additional $50 are available for Piff’s Private Party, which takes place an hour before the event. Additional fees may apply.
The feeling is mutual. Van der put appeared on the first season of “Penn and Teller: Fool Us” and he did exactly that when he fooled Teller with some sleight of hand. “Penn took a wild guess and figured out the card trick,” Van der put said. “However, when I tricked Teller, that was just amazing. He’s so hard to trick.”
He soon learned that the beanie allowed him to communicate with animals and plants, and even control the elements around him. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his new magical friends. The beanie brought him closer to nature, allowing him to understand the delicate balance of the ecosystem and the importance of maintaining it. He used his powers to heal wounded animals, replenish dying plants, and protect the environment from harm. However, Thomas soon realized that his powers had attracted the attention of those seeking to exploit them for personal gain. Greedy hunters and ruthless businessmen saw his abilities as a means to gain wealth and power. They wanted to capture him and use his powers for their own nefarious purposes. Determined to protect himself and his magical beanie, Thomas used his newfound talents to outsmart his pursuers. With the help of his animal friends, he outmaneuvered traps and evaded capture. He even managed to convert some of the hunters into allies, transforming their greed into a desire to protect and preserve nature. As time went on, Thomas became known as the "Magic Beanie Boi" among the villagers. His reputation spread far and wide, and people sought his advice and assistance in preserving the environment. He used his powers to educate others about the importance of conservation and the impact of human actions on nature. But Thomas remained humble and grounded, always reminding others that anyone can make a difference if they take the time to understand and appreciate the world around them. He encouraged everyone to become stewards of the environment, reminding them that even the smallest actions can have a significant impact. And so, the story of the Magic Beanie Boi became a legend, passed down from generation to generation. Thomas's legacy lived on, inspiring future children to appreciate and protect nature, and reminding them of the magic that lies within each and every one of us..

- Michelle - 2 stars - I really didn't like "Magic beanie boi". The storyline was confusing and lacked depth, the characters felt underdeveloped, and the overall writing style was not engaging. I found myself struggling to stay interested throughout the book and was ultimately disappointed by the lack of resolution. It just didn't live up to the hype for me.
