Hidden deep within the enchanting woods lies a mystical city, a place of wonder and beauty. This magical cityge is nestled among towering trees and lush foliage, its existence unknown to all but a few lucky souls. It is said that those who stumble upon this hidden gem are forever changed by its magic and charm. As you step foot into the woods surrounding the cityge, a sense of tranquility washes over you. The air is crisp and filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers and earthy moss. Sunlight streams through the gaps in the tree canopy, casting a warm, ethereal glow upon the forest floor.
I wished Willa has a personality like Emmy. Her childish behaviour had made me rolled my eyes most of the time while reading the book. I loved her best friend, Emmy, who’s smart and strong-headed. However, I would also like to thanks to Willa, who’d made Emmy’s future looking good especially if Cyrus and Emmy would become an item! I can’t wait to read the next short stories featuring the couple.
Since the birth of Topia, Staviti has woven a web of deceit around the truth of Creation, striving only to maintain his power while destroying anything that gets in his way. Then the Abcurses and Willa go to take revenge on the dweller committee head, and Rau shows back up, and apparently he s really interested in the fact that Willa survived the curse so maybe he meant to hit her with it.
Sunlight streams through the gaps in the tree canopy, casting a warm, ethereal glow upon the forest floor. As you venture deeper into the woods, the sounds of nature surround you. Birds chirp melodiously, squirrels scamper from tree to tree, and a gentle breeze rustles the leaves above.
5 Star #Review ~ Trickery (Curse of the Gods #1) by Jaymin Eve, Jane Washington
Thank you all so much for picking this book. It was my first 5 star review this year! This book was fantastic! I loved every minute of it and the characters are soooo much fun.
Characters
- Willa is the MC, she is clumsy, quirky and hilarious! She is the best character, I just how awesome she is. From the beginning of this book I felt like she was going to be a very strong and independent character. She has her damsel moments but she handles it very well and it’s so funny.
- The Abcurse Boys ~ Yael, Aros, Rome, Coen and Siret. I swoon whenever one of them speaks. I love the banter and I love that they are the boys she is attached too.
- Emmy ~ Is her BFF, she is strong willed and Independents. She takes care of Willa but sometimes I think they are really there for each other in ways both girls don’t even realize.
Story
- Sols, God and Dwellers each one serves a different purpose but the shit pretty much hits the fan.
- I loved how this was set up and it was a little confusing at one point but is easily explained after she reaches Blesswood.
- World build is AMAZING! Like read this book line for line, word for word, the details paint such a great picture and it leaves you with that feeling of actually being there.
- Intense moments and just fun all around, at one point I was kind of worried about what was going to happen.
- Looking for some steamy sex, it’s not in this book, this book is a slow burn that delivers a amazing amount of blue balls, if you had balls, even if you don’t you will still have them.
- When they all finally have sex, maybe in the coming books, I might pass out because the chemistry is numbing.
Overall
This book is one of my favorites, I loved reading as Willa and experiencing her life with her. She is so freakin funny and those boys. They might be my new favorite Harem or at least one of them. This book is great, I can’t recommend it enough to read. Like if you have read RH, why haven’t you read this yet? or if you plan too, start with this book, like seriously this will set the bar so high but so worth it. Such an amazing read! Loved it! oxox

I can’t tell you whether I am intrigued enough to read or listen to the next book in the series. Maybe if either of them go on sale for less than $4? Or if my library opens up to interlibrary loans again and maybe I can borrow it for the wonderful low cost of free?
The cityge seems to be in perfect harmony with its surroundings, seamlessly blending into the natural landscape. Upon reaching the cityge, you are greeted by a sight that takes your breath away. Small, whimsical houses with intricately carved wooden doors and windows line the cobblestone streets. Sparkling lanterns hang from the trees, illuminating the cityge in a soft, warm light. Fairies flit about, their delicate wings glimmering in the sunlight. The inhabitants of the cityge are as enchanting as their surroundings. Elves with pointed ears and ethereal beauty go about their daily lives, tending to their gardens, crafting exquisite pottery, and creating works of art. Each person you encounter radiates a sense of tranquility and contentment that is infectious. The cityge is not only a place of beauty, but also a hub of magical energy. Spells are cast, potions brewed, and ancient knowledge passed down through generations. The cityge is a haven for those seeking to explore the mysteries of the universe, and its libraries hold vast collections of spellbooks and scrolls filled with arcane knowledge. As you wander the streets of the cityge, you can't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement. Every corner holds a new surprise, every interaction leaves you with a newfound appreciation for the magical world. Time seems to stand still in this hidden paradise, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in its beauty and magic. Leaving the cityge is no easy task. As you bid farewell to this enchanting place, you feel a sense of longing and nostalgia. The memories of your time in the woods and the magical cityge will forever be etched in your heart, a reminder of the wonder and beauty that lies just beyond our everyday world. In the end, the magical cityge in the woods is not just a physical place, but a state of mind. It represents the hidden magic that exists all around us, if only we are willing to open our hearts and minds to its presence. It serves as a reminder to never lose our sense of awe and wonder, and to always seek out the magic in the world around us..
Reviews for "Escaping the Urban Jungle: Finding Solace in a Magical Forest City"
1. John - 2/5 - I found "Magical Cityge in the Woods" to be quite disappointing. The plot was all over the place, and the characters felt underdeveloped and unrelatable. The writing style was also a bit confusing, making it hard to follow along with the story. Overall, I was not impressed with this book and would not recommend it to others.
2. Sarah - 1/5 - I couldn't make it past the first few chapters of "Magical Cityge in the Woods". The writing was incredibly dull and lacked any depth or excitement. The characters felt like cardboard cutouts and the dialogue was stiff and unconvincing. I was expecting a captivating and enchanting tale, but instead, I was left bored and uninterested. I regret picking up this book and would not recommend it to anyone.
3. Emily - 2/5 - "Magical Cityge in the Woods" had so much potential but unfortunately fell flat for me. The pacing was slow, and the story lacked any real depth or substance. The world-building felt half-hearted, and I couldn't fully immerse myself in the world the author was trying to create. The writing style was also overly descriptive, to the point where it became tedious to read. I was hoping for a magical and captivating read, but I didn't find it in this book.
4. Tom - 3/5 - While "Magical Cityge in the Woods" had its moments, it ultimately didn't live up to my expectations. The concept was intriguing, but the execution left much to be desired. The story was predictable, and the twists and turns felt forced rather than organic. The characters, although likable, lacked depth and complexity. Overall, it was an average read that failed to leave a lasting impression on me.
