That said, while there are several I could do without, I don't know that I get tired of Straight No Chaser's rendition of "12 Days of Christmas," or Bing Crosby's "White Christmas," or even Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad." Some of the rest of them could, however, make some folks jump in front of a bread truck.
A moment of calm in a normally hectic lifestyle, the slow-down gave Riggs the opportunity to reassess his career and take steps that were sonically refreshing while even more, at core, who Riggs truly is. They re probably what would be considered down the list in popularity with some obvious exceptions so the distributor can likely get it licensed on the relatively cheap.

With a voice pure and powerful, and an approachable, childhood friend-like persona, fans are no more won over by a sweet summer breeze than by country artist Levi Riggs. It’s that Midwest simplicity and relatability that stuns in an industry often filtered a million times over. After years spent discovering who he is as an artist, Riggs found he had to look no further than his home and life in rural Indiana. “I’m a family man, through and through. Regardless of what I pursue in life, my family is always going to come first. But I’m also a farmer. I understand that ‘fly over state’ life, that mentality. Those are the people I make music for – and I am those people. I think that makes my relationship with fans something really special.” This level of realism is evident in his upcoming releases – a series of refreshingly relevant new tunes that touch on experiences shared by both Riggs and, certainly, many of his fans. “I want anyone listening to feel they’re living a bit vicariously through me – but in a way that allows them to connect and say, ‘yeah, I get that. Though his entry into the world of music was textbook (“I always stood next to my Grandma in church. She’d follow the tenor line in the hymnal with her finger, and that’s how I learned to read music…”), his career has been anything but. A transient childhood that included homes in Indiana, Minnesota, and Texas gave Riggs an eclectic and well-rounded approach to his craft. But it was an introduction to the movie Walk the Line that truly generated a path to Nashville. “I didn’t know Nashville’s music scene really even existed. But as I watched, I thought, ‘I can do that. I can put a band together, record music, and tour…’”

As he performed out more and more, Riggs found a champion in a fan – who connected him with several Nashville-based industry veterans. He began writing, recording, and releasing music, starting with his debut singles “My Best Friend’s a Girl” and “I’m Good” – both of which laid the groundwork for Riggs at country radio. His song “Tailgate Time” furthered his vocational footprint, leading to opening spots for country greats Justin Moore, Brett Eldredge, the Band Perry, Josh Turner, Colt Ford, Travis Tritt, and Alabama (to name a few) after a performance at the American Tailgaters Association’s Super Bowl party. And, in 2018, Riggs released his debut EP, “She’s Everything.”
Despite the difficulty 2020’s global pandemic brought for the music industry at large, Riggs continued to power forward, taking the time off the road to release music while simultaneously exploring new ways to eclipse the sound heard on previous releases. He leaned into some of Nashville’s top songwriting talent for new material in preparation for 2021. “It’s all about the song. 1. Emily - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Magical Tracing Workbook. The activities were extremely repetitive and didn't challenge my child at all. The illustrations were also very simple and lacked creativity. Overall, I felt like the workbook didn't provide enough value for the money and I wouldn't recommend it.
2. Mike - 1/5 stars - I found the Magical Tracing Workbook to be a complete waste of money. The instructions were confusing and poorly explained, making it difficult for my child to understand what they were supposed to do. Additionally, the tracing worksheets were too basic and didn't progress in difficulty. I hoped this workbook would help my child improve their tracing skills, but it fell flat. I regret purchasing it and would not recommend it to others.
3. Sarah - 2/5 stars - As a parent, I was unimpressed with the Magical Tracing Workbook. The quality of the book itself was lacking, with flimsy pages that easily tore. The content felt repetitive and I didn't see any noticeable improvement in my child's tracing abilities. The workbook also lacked variety, with similar tracing exercises throughout. I was disappointed with the overall experience and wouldn't purchase another workbook from this series.
