There is still no shifting Ed Sheeran from the top of the singles chart as Bad Habits holds on for a ninth week at number one. Normally, this would be expected to be his last week with the assumption that streams would have been falling for the past three weeks. That would have put the song on to the Accelerated Chart Ration (ACR), thereby halving the value of its streams and sending it tumbling down the chart. Sheeran, however, is particularly fond of being at number one and released a new version of the track, featuring Tion Wayne and Central Cee two weeks ago. That sent streams up again which means that Bad Habits avoids ACR for the time being. Whether he dips into his contacts list to come up with further new versions remains to be seen.
Ed Sheeran also has the highest new entry of the week following the release of Visiting Hours from his forthcoming new album. It enters at number five. To give him a 30th top ten (and 46th top forty) hit and has to be considered among his duller songs.
Tion Wayne also has a new entry of his own (he is not credited on Bad Habits having not been on the original version). He and ArrDee enter at number nineteen with Wid It. ArrDee�s two previous top forty hits have both peaked at number six. Who the devil knows whether this will complete a hat-trick?

The plastic-free box contains a code to access a download version of the album (with additional exclusive tracks) and other bits and bobs. Her claim that it is an environmentally-conscious move is somewhat called into question that she has released no fewer than four different vinyl versions.

Now, after a four-year gap, he has returned to something more like his original style with his fifth set Saturday night, Sunday Morning to give us what is probably his best album since that debut. It enters at number three.
