The Hero Quest adventure expansion, "Return of the Witch Lord", takes players on a thrilling journey of bravery and magic. In this quest, players must face off against the formidable Witch Lord, who has returned from the dead and seeks to bring darkness and chaos to the land. Players start their quest in the village of Kellar's Keep, where they receive a desperate plea for help from the local townsfolk. The Witch Lord and his undead minions have taken over the once peaceful village, and it's up to the brave heroes to defeat him and restore order to the land. Armed with weapons and spells, players navigate through the dark and treacherous corridors of Kellar's Keep. Along the way, they encounter a variety of monsters and traps that test their skills and strategy.

Along the way, they encounter a variety of monsters and traps that test their skills and strategy. The Witch Lord's minions, including ghouls and skeletons, do everything they can to halt the heroes' progress. As players progress through the quest, they uncover clues and information that reveal the Witch Lord's weakness.
