But this task may prove impossible, for the prince has a heart of stone, and the kingdom is frozen under the hand of the Snow Queen.
TIDE: RETELLING THE LITTLE MERMAID
A fathomless tale of a girl who dreams of another world--but if the prince refuses to marry her, she will die, and the great seal she protects will fall into the hands of the Sea Witch. For the sake of the entire realm, young Galahad Stormcrane, a great Curse-Breaker, must somehow convince a royal prince to fall in love with a mermaid who cannot speak.
CURSE-MAKER: THE TALE OF GWIDDON CROW
Gwiddon Crow is a young, vicious Curse-Maker who haunts the Winterly Wood of Albain, free from all laws, unchained from the suffering of her past. Her master, Gwiddon Baba Yaga, calls upon Crow to cast a curse upon the tiny kingdom of Astrum, and destroy the great seal which protects it from Baba Yaga's ally, Mordred the Draid. But the curse goes terribly wrong.
Now, Crow is trapped in Astrum, alone with its resentful, blind prince--and the unbroken Seal is slowly draining her life. She must find a way to free herself from her own spell.
But the only way to do that may lie with the prince whose kingdom she has destroyed.

Used availability for Alydia Rackham's The Curse-Breaker Series: Books 1-4

My favorite part of these books is the multiple perspectives. I love getting inside both Harper and Rhen’s heads in the first book. It’s fascinating to see the same scenes from both of their eyes and how differently they react to the same situation. I loved the complexities of Rhen’s point of view when he changes into the beast as well. Their slow building relationship is a beautiful tribute to the classic fairy tale. We can see them changing towards each other as we get inside both of their heads. I was intrigued to get inside Grey’s head in book two. At first he really bugged me with his hiding and avoiding his problems. But as he learned magic and to trust others, I really enjoyed his narrations. Lia Mara was probably my favorite character to get her perspective. Her life and destiny is fascinating. I loved getting to know her better. The multiple perspectives in the finale are particularly well done as we get inside everyone’s heads and understand why they are making certain decisions. Although, some drama could be avoided with more communication and less thinking. I loved seeing how they felt about the action in the previous books as well. Definitely a highlight of the series is the narrative style!
