The Salem Witch Trials of 1692 were a series of trials of local residents accused of witchcraft. They are reported to be the deadliest witch hunt in North American history. More than 200 people were accused of witchcraft, and 19 were found guilty of witchcraft. Fourteen women and five men were executed by hanging. Several more people died in jail while Giles Corey was pressed to death for refusing to plead.

The entertainment peaks on 31st October with fireworks over the North River. Also, there will be a main stage with live music on Salem Common, plus bands and DJs providing entertainment around downtown.

There is, of course, crowds. Crowds are enormous, and it is easy to get lost in the crowd. However, the fun is good-natured, and many guests are in fancy dress. However, the costumes on many of the street performers are sensational.

After we arrived in Salem, we caught the Salem Trolley for a guided tour around the town. Usually, the trolley offers a hop-on-hop-off experience, but today was operating a non-stop circuit ride due to crowds. Also, there were enormous crowds for many of the museums, shops, and exhibitions.

Our guide on the trolley explained that today, the Saturday before Halloween, was second only to Halloween for crowds. Despite the crowds, we had a fantastic time in what was a unique festival. If you can cope with the masses, Salem is bonkers and rather enjoyable fun.

Reviews for "Erykah Badu: The Diviner's Approach to Authenticity in the Music Industry"

1. Jane - 2/5 - "I was really disappointed with Erykah Badu's album 'Diviner'. I've been a fan of her previous work, but this album just didn't do it for me. The songs lacked the depth and soul that I usually associate with Badu's music. It felt like she was just going through the motions, and the production was lackluster. Overall, I found the album to be forgettable and not up to her usual standards."
2. Mark - 2/5 - "I had high expectations for Erykah Badu's 'Diviner' album, but unfortunately, it fell short for me. The songs lacked the originality and creativity that I had come to love from Badu. They all seemed to blend together and there were no standout tracks. Additionally, the lyrics didn't connect with me on an emotional level like her previous works. It pains me to say it, but 'Diviner' was a miss for me."
3. Sarah - 3/5 - "While I didn't hate 'Diviner', I have to admit that it didn't live up to my expectations. I've been a fan of Erykah Badu for years, and her previous albums have always captivated me. However, this album felt like a departure from her signature sound. It was more experimental, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it just didn't resonate with me like her older music. I appreciate her willingness to try something new, but unfortunately, 'Diviner' didn't resonate with me as deeply as her previous works."
4. Michael - 2/5 - "I was really looking forward to 'Diviner' as a long-time Erykah Badu fan, but this album left me disappointed. The production felt disjointed and the songs lacked the catchy hooks and infectious melodies that I love about Badu's music. It felt like she was trying too hard to be too different and ended up losing the essence of what makes her music so captivating. I hope her next album brings back the magic that she's known for, but unfortunately, 'Diviner' missed the mark for me."
