The fourth episode of the Japanese drama series "Cherry Magic" continues the heartwarming story of Adachi and Kurosawa. In this episode, we see their relationship grow stronger as they face new challenges and confront their true feelings for each other. One of the main themes of the episode is communication. Adachi and Kurosawa have been able to read each other's thoughts through a magical power, but they realize that true communication requires more than just sharing thoughts. They learn the importance of expressing their emotions and thoughts directly to each other, even if it's difficult or embarrassing. This leads to several heartfelt conversations and moments of vulnerability between the two characters.
Reviewing a game for a child always proves rather difficult, as it's pretty difficult to try to remember what you remembered when you were young. However, there are enough basic concepts, such as a child's attention span, that helped me decide what to make of Magical Mirror. It's just plain boring and often tedious. Most kids will find the game as just that, and for the monetary investment, it's not recommended.
During certain animations, the screen will start wobbling and a certain number of stars in your meter will highlight red, giving you a few seconds to find the correct thing to click on. The Collection has been perceived by guests as representing the parks Magical Reflection the castle for Magic Kingdom; Sunset Lagoon with the world showcase for Epcot and Dream It, Do It with the tree of life for Animal Kingdom.
This leads to several heartfelt conversations and moments of vulnerability between the two characters. In addition to the emotional aspect, the episode also explores the impact of Adachi's newfound popularity at work. As Kurosawa becomes jealous and feels insecure, Adachi must navigate how to balance his growing career success with his relationship with Kurosawa.
Magical Reflection
This painting was a commission for a couple in the Golden Oak community. Nath and I went to meet them at their propriety to share ideas of what the painting could be. I had prepared notes on what I thought would be great. I let Mike and Cindy speak first about their idea. We were so surprised and amazed – we had the exact same idea! The side of the castle with the reflection on the water. The painting was then officially spoken for them.
The sketch was submitted to Disney for approval with the idea that it could be a painting hiding 50 Mickeys and 21 opening day icons (for 1971 and 50 years). The painting could be used as an official image on merchandises for the 50th Anniversary of Magic Kingdom. Disney liked the sketch and the idea. All I needed to do was to add the 50th decorations on the castle. I had the privilege of seeing what the decorations would be on the castle so I can reproduce them in my painting.
To explain how we came up with 2 versions of Magical Reflection: Once I finished painting the original, we had it scanned and printed on a canvas. Then I painted the decorations on the print version. This version was scanned and used as the 50th Anniversary Magical Reflection.
We kept the exclusivity of selling the original artwork without the decorations while Disney would sell the version with the decorations. You can see in the parks, in the Art Galleries, Magical Reflection (with decorations) on various merchandises. Those are available only during the 50th Anniversary celebrations. Our version without the decorations is there to stay and will continue to be available after the celebrations.
I don’t know if anyone caught why it is called “Magical Reflection” 🙂 Yes there is a reflection of the castle on the water. However, the real meaning of “magical” is… there are no decoration reflected on the water.
Magical Reflection is part of “The Collection” which includes 3 different artworks with many hidden items. The other two paintings included in The Collection are: Dream It, Do It (84 hidden items) and Sunset Lagoon (53 hidden items). The Collection has been perceived by guests as representing the parks: Magical Reflection (the castle) for Magic Kingdom; Sunset Lagoon with the world showcase for Epcot and Dream It, Do It with the tree of life for Animal Kingdom. A fourth one might be coming one day for Hollywood Studios…

Of course, the game isn't entirely dull cut-scenes and one-dimensional gameplay. The main gameplay mechanic behind Magical Mirror has Mickey questing to collect stars, which in turn allow the player to play pranks on him. For example, when you collect your first star, you must play a prank on Mickey by clicking on the door. Out comes the ghost, who spins around Mickey to frazzle him, but also ends up dropping a key that was in his hand. This allows Mickey to open the door and continue forward. In other instances the puzzles are more difficult, and require trial and error. There are times when you don't want to play a prank on Mickey because it has a negative effect on his progress. Still, it's all pretty basic and the puzzles are mostly straightforward.
This conflict adds a layer of depth and realism to the story, highlighting the challenges that come with maintaining a work-life balance. Overall, the fourth episode of "Cherry Magic" delves deeper into the complexities of Adachi and Kurosawa's relationship. It emphasizes the importance of open communication and explores the challenges that come with personal and professional growth. Viewers are left eagerly anticipating what will happen next as the two characters continue to navigate the complexities of their feelings for each other..
