The Norse runes, an ancient form of writing used by the Norse people, were believed to possess mystical and magical qualities. Each rune carried a specific meaning and purpose, allowing individuals to connect with the divine and harness their power for various purposes. Among the many runes, one stood out as particularly significant in warding off danger – the Algiz rune. The fantastic purple couch turns into two very nice looking chairs. However, the two chairs lack studs which makes it difficult to sit a minifigure on them. That said, none of the minifigures in this set have bending legs, so at best a minifigure can only stand on the chair anyway.

Personally, I found it challenging to place the stickers randomly on the trunk, so I saved myself the anxiety and opted not to use them for this purpose. While the Great Hall scenes obviously represents all houses, different coloured pieces and appropriate banners are included, should you want to make a common room or dormitory for a different house than Gryffindor as shown.

Finally, it is time to decorate the box with stickers. Generally, I try not to overdo such things.

Heimdallr was said to possess extraordinary senses, able to detect the approach of enemies from miles away. The Algiz rune was linked to his vigilant and protective nature, serving as a symbol of his watchful gaze and the constant safeguarding of the gods and their realms. In addition to its association with Heimdallr, the Algiz rune also had ties to the goddess Freyja, who possessed a falcon-feather cloak that granted her the ability to shape-shift into a falcon. This shape-shifting ability allowed Freyja to soar high above the land, surveying potential dangers and keeping her people safe. The Algiz rune was seen as a representation of this visio.
