Witchcraft holidays in 2024 are a significant event within the pagan and witchcraft communities. These holidays, also known as Sabbats, are celebrated throughout the year and are based on the changing seasons and cycles of nature. In 2024, there are eight major Sabbats that witches and pagans will observe. The year begins with Imbolc on February 2nd, which marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It is a time to honor the rebirth of the earth and the returning light of the sun. Many celebrations include purifying rituals and the lighting of candles.

Whether or not it’s capable for mere human minds to fully grasp the breadth of this promo, I have to admit the shoes are pretty cool. I’m no baller—not basket, base, or foot, at least. Maybe goof.—but I’d love to wear a pair to like, the grocery store, so I can further cement my status as the most uneasily eager weirdo in the cereal aisle.

Not only do they have an image of the red yellow Magic Pebbles textured onto them, but the shoes, like the cereal, also have a special color-changing technology that I ll just let the PR folks explain. Inspired by LeBron James favorite childhood cereal and collaboratively designed by Nike and PEBBLES, the Nike LeBron James 19 Low Magic Fruity PEBBLES shoe is a colorful pair of sneaks that features actual photography of the Magic PEBBLES red and yellow cereal flakes.

Many celebrations include purifying rituals and the lighting of candles. Next is Ostara, which falls on March 20th, the spring equinox. It is a time to celebrate the arrival of spring and the balance between light and dark.

Magic Fruity PEBBLES™ x Nike x LeBron James Collaboration PEBBLES™ Cereal Celebrates National Cereal Day With Launch of Magic Sneakers and Cereal

LAKEVILLE, Minn., Feb. 24, 2022 – To celebrate National Cereal Day on March 7 th , Fruity PEBBLES TM cereal is teaming up with two other cultural icons to tip off a truly colorful partnership in 2022. Powerhouse brand Nike and basketball superstar LeBron James are collaborating with PEBBLES cereal, officially licensed from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, to serve up several colorful, flavorful and magical ways for fans to celebrate this season.

The full-court press kicks off with the release of a truly iconic set of kicks. Inspired by LeBron James’ favorite childhood cereal and collaboratively designed by Nike and PEBBLES, the Nike LeBron James 19 Low Magic Fruity PEBBLES™ shoe is a colorful pair of sneaks that features actual photography of the Magic PEBBLES red and yellow cereal flakes. “To have an original pair of my Nike sneakers pay tribute to my favorite cereal growing up is surreal,” said James. “Putting them on and seeing the colorway come to life is even better.”

The real magic, though, is the new 19 Low’s Photochromic DCS Technology where the shoe’s airbag uses the power of the sun’s UV light to transition a completely clear Air unit to a purple colorway. This first-time collaboration between Fruity PEBBLES x LeBron means fans everywhere can unlock two colorways, both on and off the court.

“The PEBBLES brand is all about finding new ways to surprise and excite fans,” said Leah Broeders, Head of Licensing for PEBBLES cereal. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Nike to launch this one-of-a-kind color-changing collab just in time for National Cereal Day. When we learned that LeBron was a HUGE fan of the cereal when he was a kid, we knew this was a no-brainer. It’s truly the biggest partnership since the stone ages!”

Traditions include planting seeds, decorating eggs, and observing the blooming of flowers. Beltane, celebrated on May 1st, is a holiday of fertility and abundance. It represents the peak of spring and the beginning of summer. Maypoles are often danced around, bonfires are lit, and rituals to honor love and passion are performed. Litha, also known as the summer solstice, occurs on June 21st. It is the longest day of the year and represents the height of summer. Many gather to watch the sunrise or sunset and perform rituals to honor the sun and its life-giving power. Lughnasadh, celebrated on August 1st, marks the first harvest of the year. It is a time to give thanks for the abundance of the earth and to celebrate the beginning of the harvest season. Many engage in activities such as baking bread, making corn dollies, and holding feasts. Mabon, on September 22nd, is the autumn equinox. It is a time to give thanks for the harvest and prepare for the coming darkness of winter. Many celebrate by making cornucopias, decorating with autumnal colors, and reflecting on personal harvests and achievements. Samhain, on October 31st, is perhaps the most well-known witchcraft holiday. It is the witches' new year and a time to honor ancestors and those who have passed away. Many participate in divination activities, hold ritual feasts, and create altars to honor loved ones. Finally, Yule, on December 21st, is the winter solstice and the longest night of the year. It marks the rebirth of the sun and the eventual return of light. Many celebrate with Yule logs, gift-giving, and lighting candles to bring warmth and light into the darkness. Each of these holidays holds deep spiritual significance for witches and pagans. They provide opportunities for connection with nature, reflection, and celebrating the cycles of life. In 2024, witches and pagans around the world will come together to honor these Sabbats and the traditions and rituals that accompany them..
