Mascot Madness 2017 – The Finals

View the complete Mascot Madness 2017 bracket through The Finals.

The 5th annual Mascot Madness tournament is nearly complete. This year we had 38 mascots competing against one another to determine who New York’s favorite college mascot is in 2017. All participating mascots hwere randomly placed into four competition brackets, ranked by the number of athletic programs they each represent. Your votes helped to decide who advanced in each round to eventually get us to this point.

Now, we’ve reached the Finals! Through four rounds up to this point, we’ve seen tens of thousands of votes come through to fill out our bracket. There’s been upsets and surprises that got us to this championship match between defending champion Victor E. Knight of SUNY Geneseo and first time finalist Oakie the Acorn of SUNY ESF. Its sure to be a highly competitive championship match. But remember, only you can decide who the winner will be.

The Finals runs from April 3 at 12:00 to April 5 at 4:00.

Athletics at SUNY

In athletics statewide, SUNY has more than 85 NCAA Division I, 290 NCAA Division III, and 385 NJCAA athletic teams, as well as hundreds of non-competitive athletics clubs. At SUNY, there are opportunities for all who have a talent and passion for athletics at SUNY. And with the right work ethic in place, championships and accomplishments that bring athletes to the national stage can be achieved.

Our mascots work so hard cheering on all of our SUNY student athletes all year long. With this competition, we have our opportunity to cheer them on and recognize them for all the hard work they do to lift our campuses and students across New York State and beyond. So let them know!

* Voting for the 2017 Mascot Madness tournament will be conducted with vote verification. Each voter will need to supply an email address with which they will be sent a confirmation email to submit their votes through. This will allow the voting to be reviewed for consistency in a direct way. All votes will be limited to one per 12 hours, after which a user can resubmit a new vote in the same game again. Email addresses will not be used for marketing or addition to any mailing lists, but simply for voter verification. All addresses will be deleted at the conclusion of the tournament.

Reviews for "The Magic of Xanadu Video: Bringing Imagination to Life"

1. Karen Thompson - 2/5 - I was really excited to try out the Xanadu magic video after hearing all the hype, but I was quite disappointed. The video didn't live up to its claims of teaching mind-bending magic tricks. The explanations were vague and unclear, and the instructor seemed more concerned with promoting his other products than actually teaching us anything useful. I ended up feeling frustrated and let down by the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend the Xanadu magic video to anyone looking for genuine magic instruction.
2. John Davis - 1/5 - I regret wasting my money on the Xanadu magic video. It was a complete disappointment. The production quality was poor, making it difficult to see what the instructor was doing. The tricks that were taught were basic and unimpressive. Furthermore, the instructor's explanations were vague and lacking in detail. It felt like he was rushing through the material and not taking the time to ensure that viewers truly understood the techniques. Save your money and look elsewhere for quality magic instruction.
3. Emma Roberts - 2/5 - As a beginner in magic, I was hoping that the Xanadu magic video would offer clear and comprehensive instruction. Unfortunately, it fell short. The video assumed a certain level of knowledge and didn't provide enough explanation for beginners like me. The instructor also seemed disinterested and lacked enthusiasm, which made it hard to stay engaged. I was left feeling confused and frustrated. I would recommend finding a different resource for learning magic, especially if you're a beginner.
4. Michael Thompson - 2/5 - The Xanadu magic video didn't meet my expectations at all. The tricks taught were either too simple or too complicated, leaving a big gap for someone at an intermediate skill level like myself. The explanations weren't detailed enough, and important steps were often skipped over, making it difficult to grasp the full effect of the tricks. Overall, I found the video to be lacking in substance and not worth the money. I would advise seeking out other magic instructional videos that offer better clarity and a wider range of tricks.
