In short, we could definitely use a Friday pick me up to end off this wild week.
With hockey nowhere in sight, we didn’t think infamous Flyers mascot Gritty would be the one to save our weekend mood.
Of course, we should have never underestimated Gritty.
Our neighbours South of the border in the United States are still anxiously awaiting the results of their Presidential Election. With some ballots still being tallied, some people have taken to the streets to ensure that their vote is counted. In Philadelphia, citizens are protesting outside the city’s Convention Centre urging the state to keep counting every vote.
Whenever there’s any unrest in Philly, you just have to expect that Gritty is gunna be there, right?
A rogue, kind of dishevelled-looking Gritty appeared in the protest, and started a dance party. Obviously.
