The worst witch is a British television show that premiered in 1986. It is based on a series of children's books by the same name written by Jill Murphy. The show follows the adventures of Mildred Hubble, a young witch attending Miss Cackle's Academy for witches. While the show gained a following and ran for four series, it is often regarded as one of the worst fantasy television shows of the 1980s. Many critics and viewers criticized the low-budget production values, mediocre acting, and weak storytelling. The special effects were often laughable, with obvious green screens and cheap props.
She use short range magic attacks, Fine also count with the help of her twin sister Rein in several attacks and supers (in one of them she make the enemy dance in her own style). Her lv3 super summons Rein, then the both use their super transformation with a destructive attack in the enemy and if the battle is won with this super then Fine and Rein will have a special win pose with their transformation instead of returning to normal. Also, despite her version is based in the Gyu! series, the faeries Kyukyu & Pyupyu are omitted and the transformation in Grand Universal Princess occurs normally, even without them. It might due graphical limitations as they are smaller than Poomo (which appears in Fine's win pose).
In one of her special attack with Edochin, she spin him and throw away, but if the foe is close then the enemy will hit many times before she throw Edochin. In one of her special attack with Edochin, she spin him and throw away, but if the foe is close then the enemy will hit many times before she throw Edochin.
The special effects were often laughable, with obvious green screens and cheap props. One of the main criticisms of the show is that it failed to capture the essence of the beloved book series. The books were known for their humor and charm, but the show's attempts at comedy often fell flat.

The characters lacked depth and the plots were often predictable and uninspired. Another issue with the show was the lack of diversity in its cast. The majority of the characters were white, and there was a lack of representation from different ethnic backgrounds. This led to criticism of the show for not being inclusive and failing to reflect the diverse world we live in. Despite its shortcomings, The Worst Witch did have some redeeming qualities. The show introduced young viewers to the world of witches and magic, which was an appealing concept for many children. It also tackled important themes such as friendship, loyalty, and the importance of embracing one's unique qualities. Over the years, The Worst Witch has gained a cult following, with some viewers watching it for its nostalgic value. The show has also been remade several times, with a more successful adaptation premiering in 2017. This newer version has received critical acclaim for its improved production values and stronger storytelling. In conclusion, The Worst Witch 1986 television show was widely criticized for its low production values, mediocre acting, and weak storytelling. However, it did introduce young viewers to the world of magic and friendship. Despite its flaws, it has gained a cult following and has been remade successfully in recent years..
Reviews for "No Magic Here: The Worst Witch 1986 and Its Troubles"
1. Mary - 1 out of 5 stars - "The worst wotch 1986" is absolutely terrible. The storyline is confusing, the acting is subpar, and the special effects are laughable. I couldn't believe I wasted my time watching this movie. The characters were poorly developed, and I couldn't connect with any of them. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this movie to anyone.
2. John - 2 out of 5 stars - "The worst wotch 1986" had potential, but it fell flat. The concept seemed interesting, but the execution was lacking. The pacing was off, and there were unnecessary scenes that added nothing to the plot. The dialogue was cheesy, and the acting felt forced. I can't say that I enjoyed watching this film, but I've seen worse. It's not worth the time and effort to seek out this movie.
3. Emily - 1 out of 5 stars - I have to agree with the title of this film, "The worst wotch 1986". This movie was an absolute disaster. The plot was nonsensical and meandering, making it difficult to follow or care about the characters. The performances were wooden, with lackluster delivery and zero chemistry between the actors. The special effects were amateurish and outdated. Save yourself the agony and skip this one.
